were doing small bottles of whisky, the webiste does personalised labels with names and dates, and thistles and red roses on to represent scotland and england... how would i sent you a link? x

we are not splashing out on mens favours, just dragees coloured in our theme, but the ladies are having hand made soaps in our colour scheme :) x
I have know my soulmate for 27 years and on the 6th August

were just having pink and silver chocolate heart sweets in boxes with pink ribbon on for ours xx

We're having favour buckets with a couple of chocolate hearts in our colour and also buying everyone a lottery ticket for the draw that night!

Im making chocolate hearts in organza bags so they are unisex favours. The children will be the only ones getting something different which will be specially made party bags :-)

Were having cufflinks from the men...made them myself and worked out at 99p each fully boxed and wrapped!!

Apparently in Scotland it's traditional to only give favours to women. When I spoke to my neighbours about favours for the men she was really suprised and said she'd never heard of it. Mind she doesn't get out much! I live in Scotland by the way.

We are doing Prostate Cancer pin badges for the men & Breast cancer ones for the women, we feel it's a good thing for everyone & also giving a wee bit to the research of two types of cancer that has effected both our family's in recent years. x

Traditionally favours were only given to women. Weddings were classsed as lucky occasions so the favours were a way of sharing that luck. They traditionally contained 5 items to represent the 5 wishes of marriage .... health, wealth, fertility, longevity and happiness and the bitter sweet sugar almonds represented the bitter sweet qualities of marriage.

we just got our men scocks that say who they are on the big day ..as were going aborad we have to have small and lightweight favors...and for the bm its the jewllery....plus were on a budget!
