Ok so me and H2B decided we didnt like our original centrepiece idea so we are altering it slightly. We have gorgeous white birdcages that we are gettin for free from H2bs work. So we want to make the centrepiece kinda like a mini garden around the birdcage and just have a fancy candle in the cage and a wee butterfly on the top. SOOOOO we want to use those mini topiary trees around the birdcage with petals scattered. They are placecard holders but think they would do the job. Now the thing is the delivery charge on every uk favour website I've checked is £4 upwards!! How can they justify that! I only want to buy one at the moment to see how they look. Does anyone know if there are any shops that sell these favours? Or a website that charges slightly less delivery charge?

Also any other ideas would be grand :-)

If you want one just to try it then it may be worth ringing the company and asking if they will drop the postage on the basis that if it's what you want you'll order more. Not all companies will do it, but it's worth the ask.

I cant upload pics at work :-( I'll post a link to pics on my wall though? Ive checked every favour website and they seem to be on every website. Its the wee heart shaped ones are the cutest! :-)

Thats a good idea, I might try that. I was hoping there might be a shop somewhere so I could check the size before I buy but I dont think its the kinda thing you'd find in a shop is it?

What about the mini pegs you can get for crafts? You could have mini bunting or photos using these hung up like washing? Just an idea!

The best deal I found was about £8 for 4 including Postage - it'll be fine for when I am actually ordering them but I kinda wanna see em before I buy like 15 of them lol. If I have to, I'll pay the postage but will need to wait till payday unfortunately. Skint this month :-(

Why is there not a wedding favour shop! There should be wedding shops that sell all this kinda shtuff lol. I should open one!
