i think i might have had it with this woman to cut a long story short my dad has only been back in my life for about 3 years after an absence of pretty much my entire life now while i no longer need a daddy as such we are trying to have some kind of relationship which would be nice as my sister and i no longer have our mother or grandparents ANYWAY from the start she seemed as if she was mad at my sis and i for appearing in her life they came up for a visit and stayed with me she wouldnt let my sis or me sit next to our father as she wanted to sit beside her husband ( ok fair enough ) she picks and sends horrendous gifts of watches and jewellery she orders for herself and then discards so its ok to send to us and we are not meant to mention our mother in case of upsetting her i mean for the love of god how can she be jealous of a ghost its not like they were a match made in heaven now she is having a fit because he is wearing a tie when giving me away cause he didnt wear one when they got married she kept saying "oh you can wear a tie for your daughter but not for me " totally pathetic then another fit cause my sister told her not to wear the white\ivory suite she was gonna buy so now she is coming dressed as a giant humbug ohhh and im not allowed to play a certain song that reminds us of our mum cause she will freak out now she has written us a poem which she thinks she is reading at our wedding she hasnt even been asked to write a flaming poem let alone read one im trying not to say anything to her she made a comment about comming in the car with me and my dad and no h2b is angry he says no way is she doing that my sisters bf said he wil give her a lift but she is determined to be in a wedding car and telling us what flowers she wants as her bouquet at the end of the night i mean my god she isnt even getting one she isnt my mother am i being unreasonable and selfish cause i feel like telling my dad to forget it and asking my uncle to give me away but h2b says not to as she isnt getting away with spoiling it for me grrrrr sorry to moan girls but its bugging me to death xxx

You have every right to be angry! You need to put your foot down, but if you feel you can't why don't you ask your other half to speak to your Dad? I'm not being funny but he should be doing everything in his power to make up for the fact he hasn't been in your life. She sounds like a very spiteful and vindictive woman and you certainly shouldn't be doing anything to include her in your wedding if you don't want to. I would have the music that reminds you of your Mum, Make sure your Dad wears the tie and definitely don't have her in the car. As for a bouquet, I was under the impression they are given as gifts to thank people for helping with the wedding arrangements?

i know she is i dont get why she is so possesive of him she always knew he had two daughters who he wanted to contact much sooner than he did but he was suffering from bad bouts of deppression and was told he should get that under control first before he conntacted us they live in london and see us once a year if they are lucky and it would be more but she says she dont want to spend her holidays in scotland she wants to go somewhere warm she is so selfish living down there is the cause of my dads deppresion but she wont consider relocating despite the fact that all his family is here his grandkids etc but he loves her and doesnt want another failed marraige ohhhh ggrrrr she is such a cow sorry lol xxx

Let me get this straight - your mum brought you and your sister up while your dad was goodness only knows where and now his wife (who let's face it is nobody to you) is telling you not to honour your mum on your wedding day because it will upset her? The silly b!tch really needs to get a grip!
You need to tell her - she isn't going in your wedding car, she isn't having a bouquet or reading a poem and you WILL honour your mum.
