Apart from clicking the x in the corner hunni you could block them so they cant come back???? but you would have to block each company at a time

Should be at the bottom of the advert

it would be easier if when you block them, you then dont have to go back and click the X too. Could there be a way of blocking which automatically deleted any of their posts?

I spent one rainly saturday afternoon deleting and blocking all the advertisers on my wall, apart from one which we are using for our reception! Yes, it takes ages, but once it's done you'll really notice a difference. The it's just a matter of doing the odd one now and again.

MODS - maybe a suggestion for IT Man /J: How about having an option when you subscribe, to opt out of advertising, but to pay an additional fee for the priveledge? Just a thought...

I've blocked most of mine from the beginning so it hasn't been too difficult, just kept those that were relevant!
Left my wall for a few days and had loads again, it is annoying but some are interesting and have given me ideas!

When you create your account there is an option regarding the adverts, but there isn't an option to stop them all once your account is created.

If you just start blocking and deleting from now as and when they come through it will probably be a week or so before you are pretty much free from it.
This site has to make money somehow and the ads are it.

This has nothing to do with the original question on this topic

But I wanted to flag down a mod without creating a topic on this cause it's quite petty!

The category: I WAS MUCH TO LAZY TO FIND THE CORRECT CATEGORY ... do not use this catergory,

Can someone please sort out the horrible grammar and spelling of the title of this topic?

    It should at least be-
I WAS MUCH TOO LAZY TO FIND THE CORRECT CATEGORY. Do not use this category.

Though I personally think "Do not use this category." Is suitable enough. Every time I see it I think it's a bit harsh to call people who aren't to grips with the site lazy.

    Anyway sorry for being picky!

i dont see the point in having it if you cant use it lol. Easier to scrap it! Anyways, in terms of the advertisers it is defo a lot better. I normally get one or two a week now and have been blocking as and when they come up. Defo more managable as now I only get ones from companies I may actually need as obv I didnt block those. It defo gets better girls just persevere.

It's probably there because people would just put their topic in the first category and that category would end up full of irrelevant topics.

I'm just bothered by the grammar and spelling of it cause it makes the mods look unintelligent!
