My h2b would really like some 'wow' shoes for the wedding.Something he would never normally wear, shoes that look classy and luxurious. He really would like formal looking dress shoes(maybe with a cuban heel) but with a twist,he likes the look of alligator, eel, stingray or snake skin but in a deep blue or purple colour. He has seen some on line but they are either really expensive or from USA and he is worried about duty and sizing? We have been to the Trafford Centre today and scored a big fat zero.Anyone know where we can look? Its not fair us ladies have sooooo many choices. xxx

British mens shoes are so boring!.With us ladies the choice is endless I know loads of us have more than one pair for our weddings because we can't decide but who ever heard of the groom having more than one pair because he had too many to choose from? I think he is going to have to order them from abroad -its just a shame he hadn't thought about it when we were in NY last year as i am sure he would have had loads to choose from. Its just it would have been nice for him to be able to go into a shop and try them on in the flesh so to speak. xxx

Thanks gracelet and devilspartner he has checked them both out but still not found "the ones".He is after dark blue ones ideally but would consider purple.I think his shoe search is the equivalent of our search for "the dress".Lala he is considering a trip to Vegas now lol xxx

I like the purple ones but as you say not cheap.I don't think he would mind if the were 'the ones' but i think he would definitely prefer to hold out for some aligator, snakeskin etc ones.Shame as his suit is Paul Smith too and i wouldn't mind him spending that much as they are the only new thing he will be getting as he got his suit 3 or 4 years ago.
He has seen some at Macys(online) but they are print on leather so although only £80 even with tax/duty/international delivery i do think he should get exactly what he wants and not compromise and keep searching!
