So a few weeks ago my mother and my sister in law had a blazing row!! Since we've booked our wedding it's all been fine and we've both chosen not to take sides as it's their argument and not ours!!

Since then I tagged all the briedmaids etc in a post and my mother commented saying ' what a shame stacey is going to be there suppose family' .... stacey being my sister in law.

Now I then had a go at my mother for starting all this up again. She didnt see my side at all and just saw it that I was taking my sister in laws side. I have 14 months until thr big day but was hoping it would blow over by then!

Any suggestions how I can deal with this?

You need to tell them to grow up and sort it out! Sorry to hear your going through this hope it's sorted out quickly for your sake you should be enjoying wedding planning and not dealing with child like behaviour xx

I agree, you need to tell her this is your day and you don't want her soiling it due to an argument that has nothing to do with you. Might be hard but she needs to be told.

They need to grow up and be civil with each other for the sake of yours and your OHs day. Speak to them both and tell thgem to stop being so childish!

I agree with the others. Maybe you could get them both in the same room and say your piece on it being your wedding, you're not taking sides, they're both very special to you and how the friction is making you feel. Also how it'd be nice if they could either make up or if not to not expect you to takes sides and respect your neutrality.
