    Hi all!

I'm considering getting false eyelashes put on for the wedding - never had them before! Does anyone know if they hurt to put on and get off? and whats better - a full set of eyelashes put on in a strip or individual ones?

    Thanks girls!

    xx

no they shouldnt hurt at all - the just stick to your natural lashes, you could always get an eyelash tint if you are worried about them falling off as a tint makes your natural lashes look fuller and usually lasts for about 4 weeks

individual eyelashes are more natural lookin and last longer (mine lasted a week). but if you want a more dramatic look go for the stick on lashes, altho these last just the day and night untill you pull them off. they can be quite tricky to put on so if you go for them, practice lots before the big day. they dont hurt at all x

I found that the glue stung my eyes, but I have really sensitive eyes. Would be worth a trial with both to see which you prefer. xx

I'm a bt and do eyelash tinting and eyelashes all the time its really popular and i wear false ones near enough everyday lizzyleek is right individual ones are not as heavy and you can have them as thick as you like and look the most natural and depends how you look after them to how long they last one - two weeks usually what ever you do don't rub! hope that helps x

I had some Hard Candy ones that I loved - were so easy to out on, stayed where they were supposed to and came off easy. I wore them about 10 times and then they'd had it and any I've tired since aren't anywhere near as good :-( Not sure what I'm doing yet, but lordy do I need help in the eyelast department...

hi ya.. they shouldn't hurt but i would go to a salon and have them done if you are not sure and they will explain the process to you hun, but don't try pulling them off when you no longer want the use of them make sure you soak them off or use a oil based eye make up remover and they should come off easy

I think I'm going to get the proper lash extensions from a salon done...they're about £100 for the inital application and then around £30 for each 30min maintenance appointment (every 2-3weeks). I was going to try them out soon but I've stopped myself, if I love them then I'll always have to have them and I can't justify that expense already!
