I have been dieting since february and I've lost two stone. Whilst I am feeling really chuffed with myself I'm a seriously struggling to keep on it this last couple of months. I feel like I just want to eat all of the time. I'm not hungry, I just have massive food cravings. I am finding the diet really difficult to stick to and though I'm not gaining any of the weight back, I'm not losing anything either. It's really frustrating! Even more so because I know that giving into the cravings isn't helping me at all! Has anyone else hit a wall like this? What did you do to get yourself back in gear?

Yep - i hit this wall all the time - i find increasing exercise helps - it allows you to eat the same but lose weight - then once your losing again i think thats the motivation in itself to continue
I sometimes give in for a week or so - allow myself a lot of the stuff ive been avoiding - then have a date to restart so i dont keep going. I definitely find saying right from Monday im going to be really good helps - as long as you stick to it
There are so many people out there who will tell you
what you can't do.
What you have to do is turn around and say, "watch me"!!

Everyone I've talked to on here has done this at some point, take me for example, today I had cauliflower cheese on 3 pieces of bread for lunch, popcorn in the afternoon and 2 pork loin steaks with tons of mash and runner beans for dinner! lol, I still can't move.
As nic says, give yourself a weekend and run after the wagon and jump back on, lol! xx
WARNING:
I say the first thing I think of!

hi
i struggle to lose weight due to a thyroid condition, its taken 2 years even to get a specialist to see me but what ive started to do is tone instead. ive tried diet pills etc and nothing worked so i decided to go for a daily swim an hour a day in the pool swimming about and it seems to be working slightly and ive noticed a difference. yes im still eating everything (i know bad of me!) but if i start on the exercise the diet comes along a bit easier.
good luck ladies xxx
