i am as white as a milk bottle always even after i sit in the sun for 6 hrs so do i get a spary tan but what about my dress.

If you're really pale spray tan may be best option as ya may burn on sunbed... could maybe discuss it with salon though and see what they say

I had thought about this but i went and enquired at my local salon about how to go about it and they advised me to have the tan on the wed or thurs b4 the wedding on the sat, have a shower on the friday and then the tan would seal itself x

iv been told toavoid spray tans as it rubs off on the dress material,,im going to be going on the sunbed for a few sessions

You should try it soon....and then wear a light coloured dress for the evening a couple of days later to see if it rubs off. If you like how you look with a tan then I'd go for it! x

hi my friend is a spray tan addict, she has advised me to have my spray tan done on the thursday so as it settles down and wont go on my dress x

its the best way apparantly but not to do it any earlier than that cuz apparantly it goes a bit scailey looking shes a beauty therapist its so handy i get so many tips lol x

I use a brand called "Eco tan" and it's never rubbed onto clothing as it's a clear spray. Come on ladies - we shouldn't be using sunbeds! I'm 28 and used to use them and 2 years ago I had to have a pre-cancerous mole removed. Dr said it was almost certainly caused by sunbeds!!!

Im the same im fair with clour in my cheeks i burn extremly easily and i never tan if your wanting one y not get the lotion that you put on each day so you can build a tan up i think thats what im gonna do. x

Eco tan is the best fake tan ever!!! It doesnt smell as bad as most of them and it doesnt streak or rub off.The other thing you could try is the body lotions that have fake tan in them they are brill but as well.

spray tans are better if you build them up. Have one the Monday before the wedding, then another on the Thursday, wash it off on the Friday. Then you will be showering again on the Saturday and it will be perfect, and wont come off on your dress cause you will have showered twice.

I always have spray tans done before a do but they always seem to go funny on ny hands so i think i'm going to have some sunbeds done on the run up as much as i'm petrified of them i think its nice to have a "glow" it makes you feel that much more special. Why don't you have a spray tan done now and see how you get on with it? Have one done done by someone though as the booths are pants

I was told if I have a spray tan not to put moisturiser on, on the wedding day otherwise the cream may make it come off on the dress. x

i am with you on that one kizzy - i am THE biggest hater of sunbeds! they should be banned!! spray tan is so much better for your skin and your health! Loreal do a really good spray one that doesn't rub of and is gentle so doesn't look too obvious...I am planning on getting a spray tan from different places to decide on which one works best on my skin and then go with them for the wedding...

I am torn on this one too because I don't want to look pasty and rubbish in my dress, but my H2B's mother has had most of her knee removed due to melanoma and has just found out she needs another surgery, so if I went on a sunbed I would never hear the end of it. I don't think secret sunbedding is the best foot to start a marriage out on.
All my friends that have used fake tan just went orange, so I would be really nervous about using it before the wedding. I think you can nearly always tell, and what if it went streaky?
Ah well. My sister tells me pale skin is back in anyway.

I am going to stay milky white and freckly as that is part of what my h2b loves about me, if i turned up to the church with a tan he would be a bit taken aback, lol, plus my dress looked good on me as i was, so pale and interesting i will be! :) x
