I'm in 2 minds about it, a bit like you! I might for for a trial and see if I can find a light one as I only want a bit of a glow but I'm rubbish at doing it myself! I have been advised to make sure you have it done a few days before to ensure it doesn't rub off on your dress!!

after giving it alot of deliberation iv decided not to use fake tan,iv heard so many horror stories about it rubbing off on to dresses, and i always streak when i use it,so ivstarted going on a sunbed,3 mins 3 times a week, just for a gentle glow

Oh god dont get me started on this subject, im in 2 minds as im staying at the venue the night before and really want to make use of their facilities (swimming pool etc) but im too scared it will wash off lol..

When I got married the first time round I had it done by Clarins in Debenhams and I didn't think it had come out very dark but looking back at the pics I was a nice colour and nothing came off on my dress!

I think a spray tan is a definite NO NO ladies, it has to be something professionally done unless your very good at doing it yourself. I went to a wedding fair on Sunday and they had a beautician there and she said have it done a couple of days before leave it on overnight then wash it off the next day and it should be fine for the big day!!

lol i used to use sunbeds but then stopped as when i went on holiday i didnt get much of a tan, but they can be quite expensive aswel as you need quite a few before you develop any colour

    I can't use sun beds.

Had a spray tan done before going to America for a friend's wedding a few years ago (it has worn off by now of course!!) and was quite impressed, washed it off the next day I think it was and nothing rubbed off. Problem would be that it streaked a bit as it started to wear off and I wouldn't want that while on honeymoon!

Def will be getting fake tanned. I usually apply it myself but can never seem to get my hands and feet quite right and I've tried loads of different brands. I've got a few nights out coming up so will be treating myself to a few professional spray tans, that way I can see what one suits me and who is the best at doing it! I think that I look much healthier and slimmer with a bit of colour so it's a must for me. x

im pale and regulary use fake tan (not to the extent i go orange though) i was abit worried at first so i used one that you can just wash off.then i went onto a tinted pone, so you could see where it was going on. maybe try this to see how you will look with a tan, and see how dark you want to go. i am getting a spray tan for the wedding.x

Cheryl, try those tanning moisturisers - they tan you gradually so you'll see day by day what colour you are for how dark you want to go, they do them in light and dark too.

Im a sunbed basher so I'll bash a few beds before the big day

the best thing to do is .....

buy selftan everyday cream ( johnsons, dove )
    use it everyday
start using it everyday from atleast a month to the big day
by the time your wedding day comes you will have an EVEN looking tan which is not to in your face but just right!

i wouldnt have a spray tan you never know what it will turn out like xx

I had a spray tan a few years back but once the make up went on after I just looked dirty and my face in photos was a completely different colour! so I'm opting for a few sun beds, not something I would ever do but it's only this once or using the creams with tan in it, it's better and wont come off on your dress x

I'm not having fake tan purely because i'm scared that it will come off on my dress had it done twice before and it's stained my clothes and secondly because I go on honeymoon 2days after wedding. I'm actually going for the unhealthy option and going for sunbeds once a week for a month or 2 before the wedding - I know its bad but I take an ok colour on the sunbed so it will give me some sort of glow!!! xx

Ive had 1 spray tan at a shop - hated it!

If I havn't got time to hit the sunbed shop I buy the cans of Ambre Solair spray tan, it's fab! It's a gradual thing so takes up to 12 hours to develop, also you can re-spray if you've missed anywhere.

Pale and interesting is the way to be and it is fashionable now!! no tanning moisturiser or fake tan i've tried looks right i look like a dirty oompa loompa lol and i will not ever use a tanning bed as my sisters boyfriends mum died from malignant melonoma caused probably by her love of the sun and being brown by any means! personally i think they should be banned.

Cheryl, I am probably the most pale person in the world! I'm actually part albino, not fully as I have blue eyes and blonde hair but basically I can't tan because I have such a small amount of pigment in my skin.
I have tried just about every tan on the market and they all made me look orange. Last year though I came across Xen Tan and it is absolutely amazing. It is the number 1 tan in America now, has taken over St Tropez and I can't fault it. Give it a go, I promise you'll be impressed www.xentan.co.uk

G.I. Im naturally blonde and pale skinned, it took me about 2 years of abusing sunbeds to manage to start changing colour.

I very rarely use them anymore coz Im scared of the damage it will cause to my skin.

I'll have a look for that Xen Tan like for next time I go out.

DrunchPunk... I like the gothy look lol my finger and toe-nails are black, so is me hair lol
