Is anyone planning on having fake eyelashes on their wedding day? I'm already having hair extensions and I just don't want to look too fake, I'll be having very natural makeup - I don't wear foundation cause it's too heavy on my skin and am just debating whether to have fake lashes or not. help? xx

you can get lashes called natural lashes which look great they just lengthen a little and add fullness

I've tried some from boots that were supposed to be natural but they touched my eyebrows and didn't look very natural, I might have a g00gle and see if i can find some that are less fake. x

have you thought of eyelash extensions? they last a lot longer (obviously) and they stay put.

I've just had mine infilled again for the 2nd time - and I find them perfect, no need for eyemake and they may you look awake (and they're not fake looking at all). This is the last time I'll have them done and they will give my eyelashes a rest for the next two months (apparently two months is the cycle of an eyelash - who knew eh ;) ).

Fortunately I have long eye lashes so don't need them, but natural length ones will be fine for you,

Tatty, see if there is a local beauty college in your area. They often do treatments at less than half the cost. I know it probably sounds a bit scary but i've been to the one buy me loads (I work in the school next door) and the actual beauticians that are teaching never leave the trainees for a second when they are doing those kind of treatments, they watch everything they do like hawks until they've really mastered it and done it a ton of times so it's perfectly safe. x

I'm definitely having false eyelashes for my wedding day. My eyelashes are tiny :( lol. You can get loads of false eyelashes that look natural, just make your eyelashes look longer and fuller x

i have the individual lash extensions and they are so natural. they look amazing and every wedding ive been too the bride has had them. no mascara needed so a bonus where tears are concerend. mine cost £37 for a half set, then 30 for an infill. well worth it.xx

I'm having them inc in my make up but will no doubt discuss what type in my trial!
I have naturally long lashes, however they curl out not up so never see their 'full potential' so want falsies to emphasise them! x

Mine were £50 and then £20 for an infill (which is very 3 weeks or so)... they are fantastic.

You only notice them yourself in the beginning (as you can see them at the edge of your vision) but you soon get used to that. All that's needed to keep them good is a comb every day - you can buy little eyelash brushes that are cheap or use an old mascara brush that's been cleaned thoroughly and that works just as well.

You can have different types too - some are thicker at the base so they look more like falsh ones - others taper out and look more natural...

Thats ok Tatty, defo worth a look though, even for none wedding related stuff. I've been getting my eye brows threaded at mine now for about a year and they only charge me £3! Occasionally when they've got a student that hasn't mangaged to do a treatment enough times and they need to them passed they'll ask you if you'll be a client for free for something! Bonus! Mine local one always struggles to get enough male clients so my head of department is always getting roped in to have his toes manicured!! He say's he's doing it just to help but secretly I think he's now addicted to it! lol. x

I use to have alot of stuff done like Lizzylou at my local beauty college and never had an issue and SAVED loads of pennies.

I will probably have false lashes of some type just for an added effect, I have good lashes anyway but would like to have GREAT eyes on the day xx

I'm having my eyelashes done on the wednesday before my wedding. Depending on what stae my nails are in she either going to give my own a good finish or put some shellac(?!) ones on the same day. So on the actual day it'll just be a little bit of make up with very little near the eyes for when I'm blubbing lol x

You can get do it yourself ones, the extensions and the lashes. If you are going to buy extensions off the internet I would stay clear of the bay as in my experience the hair isn't very good quality. Foxy ones are good though x
