ok so you only get married once (in theory) and i have so many ideas going on. i was thinking of putting my adult bridesmaids in pink dresses of some sort and then having those sticky out fairy wings and a small pink top hat fascinator thing. is that too much? i dont have any flower girls or yound bridesmaids but just love this idea. either that or i wear the wings lol

It's your day so you have it your way. If that's what you want then do it. Like you say you only do it once. However, I personally would find that too much & see that as more if a hen night thing BUT that is just my personal opinion & think you should just do what you want & what makes you happy x

I think it's a fab idea but maybe not for the actual ceremony. Maybe after at the reception when everyone's had a drink or too ;)

maybe just for a few photos?? I am getting fairy wings for my flower girls for after the ceremony. So that when they are running about around the garden, and the woods then the photographer could get some cracking wee photos of them. Well one of them, the other is in a wheel chair so wont be running anywhere, but am hoping she will be well enough on the day to get some pictures taken with me.

i think that if u do have them wear wings then u need a big drastic butterfly theme running through ur wedding x

One of my Ushers (who is in her early 30s) has asked if she can wear fairy wings - if your ladies are happy then I don't see why not. Originally we were having a fairy themed wedding, I think as long as it's done tastefully then why not. I do love the wings & fascinator idea :)

I think it depends Sian - if you've got huge elaborate fairy wings and then a glittery fascinator then yes, could be a bit much BUT you can get smaller wings that aren't quite so full on and fancy and they'd look great with a simple fascinator. Thinking on - I've got a link for you amie hunny, might be worth looking up
