You could have maybe a Labyrinth theme like the film? Then you could name the tables etc after characters...

No way! You should totally get yourself a copy, you can probably get it on Play or Amazon for £3! Classic film from the 80's with Jennifer Connelly, her baby brother gets kidnapped by the Goblin King (David Bowie!) because she wished him away, then she has to go on a mission to the Goblin Kingdom to get him back! But she meets all sorts of creatures along the way, it's a cult classic! All sorts of cool goblins in that film - alternatively you could name tables after famous goblins maybe like the Green Goblin from Spiderman? or goblin films like LOTR - or if you play the games, maybe even place names from computer games with goblins like WoW...

But definitely watch Labyrinth anyway!

I bought a copy of labryinth on bay of e for 2 pound last month. Its such a cool film and i am a big kid. I like the idea of fairys and goblins though. I love fairys and wanted fairys at the wedding but H2B said no lol.

I think he sees enough fairies they are all over the house and garden and i have one tattooed down my leg. Fairy free day well other than my tattoos. May sneak a few in see if he notices

what about other mystical creatures, like mermaids, witches, unicorns, ogres etc....... You dont have to do it disney princess style, but really classic, think of the mythology books etc....

I would also say labrynth is definately worth a watch though..... buy it and love it!!!

The theme of faries can be so varied. You could go really dark and gothic, or really glitsy and glam (and anywhere in between). There are so many different types from pixies, brownies, sprites, gnomes, elves, dryads, I could go on but the list is so long.
Using this for a theme sounds awesome.

Fariytale theme would be so fun to do! I'd have so much fun! Having fun doing our willy wonka theme :D

I've seen cinderella horse and carriage favour boxes, you could have a fairytale themed candy buffett, with sparkles and things, you could have a big princessy dress, with a fancy tiara and satin gloves and glittery shoes, you could have all the men in the bridal party in top hats....the possibilitys are endless!!xxx

Labyrinth is a classic. I have my son to watch it all over again with now. Fairytale theme is a great idea. I guess there are lots of variations of what is fairytale. Maybe you may also consider a Midsummer Nights Dream as a theme. Only a suggestion as it was the first thing that came to mind when thinking of fairytale. xxx
