Hello ladies! I know we have chatted about this many times? But I really would like to try some eyelash
extensions before I get married to see if I like the feel of them etc.... can anyone tell me how much roughly they cost? and where you got them done? I was just thinking of having a few to thicken my lashes out especially in the corners, I don't want to look like I have false eyelashes, I want them pretty natural looking ... is that effect you got? Can you put mascara on top of them? and how long do they last?
Alot of questions I know, but any advice would be great xxxx

You're looking at about £12ish depending where you're from, big cities and further south, they're more expensive... But I'd suggest if you want them to look thicker at the corners most, then make sure you ask for individual lashes.. Not Strip...! You should be able to get them done at any beauty salon too. They last between 1+4 days, average, you can get ones that last longer than that but I can't remember what they're called.. You can put mascara on top, but you probably wont need to.. And you can get them natural looking, if the therapist is experienced enough x

Hey Cupcake...me too, really really want these done!!!! My friend got them last week....cost about 30 quid for about 2hrs worth of work (cannt remember how many to be exact)!! They last approx 3-4 weeks and to be honest they looked great!!! My friend loves them...they did take a few days to get used to but she looks as if she's wearing permanent mascara!
    Hope this helps hun xxxx

It depends on how many you want if its individual or strip lashes individual are better some cost £70 some less they are really good though they can last 4 weeks if you look after them properly if you rub them they fall off and mascara can damage them to and some other products eye cleansers hope this helps if it was length you wanted there the best , theres eye lash perming with can lengthen & define curl without adding anything to them that takes about 1hr and lasts a few months or theres tinting which lasts a month that takes 15mins and it looks like your wearing permanent mascara which defines the lashesxx

just make sure you have a test patch with the glue as i didnt when i had extensions and it resulted in my own eyelashes coming out.

    Hi Ya

They look beautiful but have a trial before the wedding, and the test to the glue before that, most salons tint your eyes lashes as well which is normally included in the price. My eye lashes are naturally oilly apparently and they only last 2-3 days, which is perfect for the wedding, but not long term use.

It makes your eyes go bamb, massive.

I had mine done 3 and a half weeks ago for my hen do. They are brilliant but I have started to twiddle some out as they are starting to look uneven now. The cost me 50 and took 1 1/2 hours to do. One thing I would say is Get them done at least 3-4 days before, as it does take a while to get used to them. I had a problem with sleepdust sticking my eyes together. and its hard to remove it. I found that filling my hands with warm water in the shower and soaking my eyes a few times softened the dust up, then when I got out i used a tooth pick to seperate my eyelashes the brushed them with the brush the came with. You will need to use a non oil make up remover like 'simple'. And I would also recommend using a cotton bud to remove eyeshadow running it along and up rather then pushing it down onto the lashes as I think thats where I went wrong. Definately try them out before you get married, im so glad I did as I now have a better idea how to look after them, and I also know I would prefer them thicker but not as long. Hope this helps xx
