    Hello again,
My H2B and I decided to have a 'wedding free week' last week, which didn't really end up happening, as we did still chat about it, but not in such a big way. But Saturday I went to try on wedding dresses for the first time... and I found the one! And we've put down the deposit on it, so that's happening now! Which is SO exciting! So now things are starting to fall into place! We've got a provisional date now, which I've pencilled in with my vicar, and assuming my H2B gets the job down south he's got a trial with in a couple of weeks, then we're all set to get married in just over six months! I'm SO excited!

That sounds like me and my H2B! We got our provisional date and I tried on a dress last week, like you, it was the one (shame it was out of budget, but now I know what I want). We'll be booking our venue tomorrow, eeek!

What's the date of your wedding?

It feels a lot less stressful now! Yes... my dress was out of budget too... Hopefully we can just scrimp in other places! My Mum told me not to worry about it at this stage, as the dress was really perfect! Our provisional date is 23rd March!
We're starting to put together our gift list now... I didn't realise how much stuff we'd need! From towels, to bedding, to cheese graters, to ironing boards, to knives and forks! I never realised how much stuff you need to make a house work!

it always does once those BIG things that you know you need to order by like yesterday, causes so much stress, that once done really is such a relief!! It may be out of budget now but you have plenty of time to scrimp and save on other things!! Listen to your mother indeed!!
Yay 23rd March :D how exciting for you!

we're not sure whether to do a gift list or not, we only rent at moment but have pretty much all the necessities and would rather wait till we own our own place to know what we need!

Well when I was at uni I sort of borrowed things, and got cheap things/second hand things, most of which were quite battered/a bit broken, or just very tired looking. This was fine when I was a student, but now we need to actually get things that are going to last us! I'm living with my parents at the moment, which is a bit odd, after having moved out for four years, but it'll give us a chance to save up to get a deposit on a house!
