I'm a bit stuck as to what to do with wedding food. we have sausage and bacon rolls at night as part of our package, but I'm thinking will this be enough? I had been thinking about adding chips but it will cost more than £100!

I think that will be enough if you are having a wedding breakfast and if your having cake to. We are having chips but that's cos it's in the package x xc

I think that sounds good to me, I'd prefer that to a buffet to be honest.
As for chips, if can afford it I'd say yes, but not a problem if you can't.

We're only having nibbles in the evening, crisps, nuts, olives etc

but then our hot buffet is at 6pm, so Im not feeding people excessive amounts of food in such a short space of time

I wold say that is enough and if people are still hungry they can buy crisps etc. Just evening guests usually feed themselves before they come and day guests will have had a big three course meal :)

We're having a hog roast, paying for 75% of the guests but the hog feeds 150 so will have lots left over if we invite a few more before the wedding x

We had a 3 course meal for our day guests with pie and peas in the evening for all of our guests. I would say what you are having is more than enough - don't forget you will have fed some of them already if you are having food in the day and those who are night-time guests will probably have eaten before coming anyway.

If people are hungry at night and don't want the sausage rolls, there is a bar restaurant that sells light bites until 10 so I think it would be fine

It will be fine. One thing that stuck with me was one lady saying to us when we asked about how many bottles of wine etc was "Remember, you are giving that to your guests as a gesture - Not for them to have a good old time on!"

That sounds fine if your on a budget, were having a hog roast and side buffet with a cupcake tower but thats because we had a minimum food spend, so one thing we are dong is stuffing our guests with lots of food... xx

it was only £2.50 a head for our nibbles or the 20 quid for the second buffet, as soon as i heard that price i was like yeah. More than happy to give people crisps and nuts hahaha

our original invoice was eyewatering, but as soon as we changed to hot buffet for the main meal and the nibbles, it was halved. I was so happy I could have cried haha

That's a great idea I bet you won't have as much waste with bacon rolls as you would a buffet :) we're undecided H2B wants a hog roast but I quite like. Those mini fish and chip cones tho if it was down to me I'd have everything it all sounds so yummy! X

Only add chips if it's within your budget the rolls sound enough, like other ladies have said your cake could be your dessert. Sure your guests will be happy with that :) x
