Me and my Fiance are looking for a piece of land or a field to hire in Essex for our wedding reception , That can accommodate a large Marquee and possibly for people to pitch tents overnight to stay , Any information or ideas would be greatly appreciated :) Many Thanks Sian Marie Xxx

Try contacting the local council to see if they know anything

Try local village halls and cricket pitches etc. We had this dilemma and after driving round for hours we found a lovely little hall with a meadow. We decided to go for it and have paid £423 for the hall hire and for the marquee we've chosen to be pitched for two nights. Finding somewhere with a hall and/or facilities works out much cheaper as you then don't have to hire portable toilets xx

we are off to look at barleyland next week :) thank you so much really cheap and plus the guests can camp over aswell super , yer we will contact some local village halls aswell thanks for helping guys :) muchly appreciated
