Im from Hadleigh but now live in Basildon :( Was with H2B years ago and then moved to New Zealand for 3 years so we split. Came back and we got back together which was a surprise to both of us. Got engaged in Ireland and are getting married in Cold Norton xx

I come from Basildon and my h2b comes from Benfleet... we're getting married near Chelmsford :D Essex bride, but I'm going to be a Bedfordshire wife :D Moving there in the next few months providing the offer on our dream flat gets accepted.

Hi I'm in Southminster, other side of Maldon and we used to live in Braintree! I used to live in Peterborough and met my H2B when I was working in Hull and he was in Chelmsford (he was one of my customers ;o) ) and seven years ago I moved to essex to be with him. But he is originally from Liverpool! lol and I cant wait to get married (but I guess I will have to for now!)

Hi fellow essex brides. I love in ongar with H2B and our 2 children. I am orginally from harlow though and work in harlow. Getting married 21st of may to me partner of 7 years. Getting married in a church at abridge where i lived for 8 years with my parents and they still live there. Then having my reception at fyfield which is where is spent most my childhood.
I am now Mrs Stacey Stiles and loving it!

The best advice I could give would be to ALWAYS ASK 'is that your best price?' or 'if I book today, what's the best discount you could give?' or 'that's out of our budget; what can you do to make it more in our price range as we really love your _____'. Honestly, the money I have got off just by being really friendly, polite, complimentary about whatever it was and hard-faced enough to ask for a discount. Today I called a well-known hotel chain and asked 'what's your best price for 3 double rooms for 2 nights?' and got £24 off - the internet price on laterooms and hoteldotcom was much more! If you don't ask, you don't get!
Also ask your supplies for their recommendations - I got my videographer cheaper because my photographer recommended him!

Thanks Kittyharris. We're having our celebrations at East anglian railwayway museum in Chappel (the village we live in). Its the only place that got me really excited :-) we're hiring a vintage bus to take everyone to Braintree Town Hall (which is beautiful) and then back to venue for afternoon tea in the carriages and then into the goods shed for the evening. I'm off to try on a dress for the scond time on thursday, think it might be the one :-D x
