So me and h2b have started trying to sort the table plan and boy its hard...but thats another matter altogether hehe
anyhoo we wanted to do escort cards instead of the formal table plan.
Anyone have any ideas how to do it/ lay it out?
we have a birdcage frame thing and would like to incorporate it somehow...but no clues on how

I've never encountered escort cards at a wedding, but I have seen them on a lot of wedding websites. I'm under the impression that you lay them out in alphabetical order and then the guest picks them up and goes to their assigned table. They can be used with place cards (table & seat assigned) or alone (only table assigned).

I had escort cards at my wedding worked really well, I put them on my wedding favors like this on the otherside it read thanks for coming to our wedding you are seated at """"" table

and then had place cards to tell them where to sit on the table.
They were laid out in table groups as we had large family groups worked out faster for them to find there table and move on. will have a think on how to incorporate them in with a birdcage that's a tough one

i was thinking of clipping them onto the cage, alphabetically some how saying their name and table number.

They are so pretty, did you do them yourself?
