Do you send out save the dates to all guests? Day and evening ones? Just thought if i send out the save the dates to evening guests and then they only get an evening invitation aren't they going to be a bit disappointed?! What have other peeps done? xx

I am going to send mine to whoever has to travel a long way for day or night do, as I want them there and would hate for them to not be able to come! x
Some people send out save the evening cards aswell as save the dates, so that evening guests still know the date of the wedding, and it is clear they wont be there all day xxx

soz Indreamland! Didn't mean to worry you! I'm sure it's fine, it makes sense to get people to save the date whether they are day or evening as evening guests may need to stay over too etc etc I only asked as i don't know the done thing! xx

We sent them to everyone, as it's a 'save the date', not 'save the whole day' - we've sent out invites since and had RSVP's and not heard from anyone they got an evening invite when they expected a day one!

i agree with bridalmiss.
we are having a weekday wedding and our venue is a good hours drive away so people might want to have the afternoon off for getting ready. and as its a monday they may just take a long weekend.
I ordered 100 as did it through a free offer and im only inviting about 70 in total so everyone will be getting one x
