I am having a small wedding (no more than 50 day and night) all mixed ages. I want something to stop the night do fading and everyone getting bored (would hate for everyone to be stood around bored).
Thought about an illusionist, charicaturist and maybe hiring a roulette table or something. can anyone recommend any good companies/people who do any of the above? if so, please can you post on my wall/message me/however else it needs to be done (dont really know how it works as im new to the site!!)
Or does anyone else have any different suggestions, id love some help!!
(do have a DJ but i want other things too as not everyone will want to dance will they).
Thanks Swan xxx

we are having a small wedding, 50 day and 80 night (tho may be 65 in night as ppl are being pains). We are worried about this too. We have hired a cariacturist but also a live band and fireworks in the hope this keeps people around. Possibly wont though. I am just hoping that most ppl will stay over given its a far way to travel but we will see. I think a few ppl are staying and we have a small dance floor but with lots of carpet next to it so the dance floor doesnt look not filled.

What about a table magician? My friend had one at hers and he spent about 10-15mins at each table. He was EPIC too!!! xXx

I was thinking about doing something for the evening as well but also stuck for ideas. After our civil ceremony I've arranged a caricaturist whilst people are having drinks and piccies so by the time we all sit down everyone should have a picture. Was thinking of asking the venue for a board that they use for meetings etc
On the evening we're doing a candy table alongside the buffet and we've got a dj but that's it. I'm worried about people not getting up dancing or having something to focus on. At one point I was thinking of hiring a photo booth but that's just way too expensive for my budget. Thinking maybe of collecting stuff during the year and putting it in a box and setting a camera up on a tripod to have a photo corner?
I love the idea of wii on a screen! might have to ask my venue about that :) x
does your venue not have any recommended clients for entertainment, sometimes you can get a good deal with them. Im not really sure what we are doing yet, i have a dj, a photo booth with a big box of props, chocolate fountain and im thinking of having cocktail hour etc.... i havent thought that much in to it. x a roulette table sounds good :-) x
Cant wait to become Mrs Purdie x x x x
