I went to try my dress on last Tuesday and was so excited, and actualyl managed to find something for my mum to wear whie we were there too!
As soon as the woman said to mum that she would need to order her dress soon so that its definately here in time, I've gone into panick mode!..

Ive been telling everyone that its not far away now but i dont think iv actually registered that in my own mind, now im panicking that its really close, what if my pictures look awful and every1 will always look back at them for years and years and laught at how silly i looked, that ive picked the wrong dress and it wont suit me (even though i love it to bits) and now just generally panicking about the whole day. Even though i know everything is fine and i'll have the most amazing day.

Im not scared of marrying him at all! just now worried about the day. im sure it will pass i think ive just actually reaslised its fairly soon and its all been a fairytale/dream up untill now but i needed to vent lol

    Sorry :)
    xxx

I know how you feel.... I'm panicking abotu lots of stuff... whether my hips will look HUGE in my dress, they didint when I tried it on, but that makes no difference in my mind lol. Whether the venue will mess up. My car breaking down. There being lots of people where we want to do the photos... you name it, I'm worried by it, lol! x

I'm starting to get nervous of the thought of walking in for the first time and saying my vows. I know I'm going to get emotional and I don't want to be a big blubbering mess. I can feel the nerves kicking in already and I'm wondering if we should have just eloped and then had the rest of the day with the guests lol.

just remember it is normal to have a pannick about the day! there is even a catagory for it on ukb lol but remember your day will go beautifully and as for your dress, if you love it then i am sure you look stunning in it and everyone else will agree too! Like emsy said, get a cjheck list and tick off everything thats left to go and it will soon dwindle down! take a deep breath it will be an amaizing day xx

Unless your list is like mine and keeps growing. Even then you can only do one thing at a time so prioritise them and do them one at a time.

I think its natural, we all just want the day to go as we plan and hoped for so we are going to get nervous that it won't. Especially as we put so much time, effort and money into it. But don't worry it will all be fine, and you will look lovely in your chosen dress :)

I am panicky about stuff cuz I have to pay deposits left right and centre - is normal chicken - just put your feet up with a notepad and pen and make a list fo what is left to do then take a deep breath - 6 months is still enough time to get things finalised and everything :) xxx

I started getting nervous and worrying about things as soon as midnight struck and I was saying Im getting married this year BUT I've just drove past the church where Im getting married and the bells were ringing. H2B said "those bells will be ringing for us soon" and it totally made any worry I had go away. If I dont look good in my dress and if things go wrong, or Ive forgetten something, who cares?! As long as I marry him thats all that matters!

People keep on saying to me we must be getting excited but it still feels like too far away... 92 days! Paid for loads of stuff this week, cake all paid for, and honeymoon, and wedding cars, chair covers and bow, mens suits.... even got some clothes for honeymoon! And saw the photographer today and paid for that too! A VERY expensive week! But has made us both feel more weddingy! And last night we chose all our wedding songs for the evening, was a lovely evening of singing and being daft!

aww hun yeah panicking seems to come with the territory lol im seriously panicking ry wont even let me talk about anything or do anything weddingy! I have to come on here if i want to talk it so thank goodness for this site!!! But the only thing we have is my dress and accessories that it he wants to save first so now im letting him and then when he wants to book and nothing he wants is available then he can stress haha i have it all planned how i want lol.

still im totally panicking about my dress it is bought and paid for and it was a sale dress too so off the rack and im now having second thoughts!! I loved it when i saw it and even though i didnt want to take it off it didnr make me cry or anything so im now wondering if it was the right decision! Im scared that i rushed into it and only fell for it because it actually fit me right and i could see how it would look rather than having to imagine it fit and old it up cos it was 6 sizes too big, or because of the price!!! i ordered a veil that isnt what i expected tho it was only 5 quid but cos il only be wearing it for ceremony and maybe a few pics i resent having to pay 80 quid for the one i really wanted!! Tho my tiara is fantastic (if a little big haha)

sorry for thread stealing lol (rant over haha)

i think thats what made me panick about my dress, i was so excited and took all my things to get an image of how it would look with all jewellery/shoes etca nd because leading up to to it i was imaging it all on the day and then of course the dress isnt in my size so i felt dissapointed that i couldnt see it all properly. hopefully when i have it fitted in march i'll b excited about it again! i know when ive looked online or in mags i havent liked any of the dresses half as much as mine, im now just panicking that he will like it lol. although i know on the day he wont turn round and say that he doesnt think it suits me lol. i think i need to stop watching big fat gyspy weddings lol, its putting a fear in me that i didnt realise lol.

.... as im typing this i think iv had an appiffany (spelling sorry) mush has sed that he wants to try for a family straight away (honeymoon baby) which is fantastic and weve spoken about it alot. i think im actually secretly panicking a bit for that too as they come at the same time. I had a miscarriage 3 years ago and im scared it will happen again, not for any medical reason, but the fear that my body wont cope again and having to go through it all a second time. This is the first time weve spoken about trying again since so it feels a pretty big deal.

I guess i have wedding AND family worries all at the same time lol. who knows as long as im not the only one then i think i can deal with it a bit more :)
