we had decided to not have an engament party, and we where just going to combine my 30th birthday/enagment and have a meal. last night we where working out how many people we would need to invite and it was way to many for a meal, so we have now decided to have an enagment party, whoop whoop exciting stuff, but we are having it 24th july so not long to sort everything out, my nan is finding out today how much the hall will be and if it is free, once that is done then got to book a dj, then its the decorations and invites i must be mad, but at least it gives me somthing other than the wedding to do which will also make the time go so much faster as well well excited now lol xxx

we are planning on having a engagement bbq in july. not planning at the moment because we are planning my son's 3rd birthday

We're just going to have a small family meal, as the night of the proposal my h2b had arranged all our friends to meet us in th epub so had or celebration then.

oh exciting, we will both be busy and excited for the next 12 weeks then, even though u will be busier and more excited which i cant say i blame u, will be thinking about u on the 23rd xx

u will be fine hun, just enjoy it after all u have worked hard on that one day so just relax and enjoy all your hard work, it will be brilliant. luckerly i know that to 2 sides of the family are ok together as had the kids christened last year and they where there, about 30+ and they all came back to our 2 bedroom flat there was no fights so thats something lol, the only problem is that MIL2B and FIL2B hate each other so could be so tension there but fingers crossed they will just stay the hell away from each other xx

i cant decide if i want an engagement party or not. on one hand its great to flaunt your ring off and have a big chat with everyone about it, but the money side of it, why not just save it towards the big day. any ideas girlies?? im stuck like glue on this.

we where going to go out for a meal, which each person had to pay for their own but we ended up with to many people hence the last minute party, u could just have a BBQ party at home, get everybody to bring a bottle. think our party with everything inculeded isnt going to cost more than £300 XX
