We're wanting a bit of an engagement party but nothing to big because, the wedding is big enough. More of a family meet up but it would just be our immediate family meeting each other and spending a bit of time getting to know each other. However, on my fiancés side his parents have split up and his dad has remarried, and we're worried if there's not a lot of people it would feel awkward between his mum and dad. We're looking at like 12 people including me and my fiancé. Any suggestions on what we could do?
