    Hi

Does anyone in live Glasgow area who knows of somewhere at a reasonable price to hold an engagement party? We don't want to spend alot of money and we are trying to make sure both sides of the family are happy as they are in different towns so I need somewhere in the middle. Stressed out already and I am hoping that planning the wedding will be easier as that is definately our day. Don't want to cause an arguement with in-laws to be

    thanks xx

What is your budget like? Will you be hosting or will everyone be paying for their own drinks and food?
A lot of pubs and clubs have function rooms that would be good for engagement parties. If you're looking for somewhere with accommodation/food/and drinks packages a lot of wedding venues offer party packages. If you went with one of these it would be a good trial of a venue for the day.

We had our engagement party in a function room, some are free to hire, only had to pay £25 and that was to cover extra staff.
We provided the food cost me £150 and there was loads left so could have done it for £75 or less.
