Has anyone thought about a song to end the night to? H2b suggested Phil Collins - Groovy Kind of Love as an alternative to our first dance. I don't like it as much as the one we have chosen so I said that perhaps we could have it to end the evening with. Evenings always end with a slow song anyway and we can get in another dance

It could also solve a lot of hassle if anyone was torn between two songs lol

My friends had hey Jude by the Beatles and everyone ended up in a long circle round the outside of the room, holding hands and swaying. Was very surreal, couldn't have planned it! But it was the perfect end to the night xx

We got married at Gretna so had our first dance on the wedding day - then a few weeks later, after we got back from honeymoon, we had our evening reception locally. We didn't bother with a 'first' dance again, but finished with a slow dance instead.

reckon we will most likely end up with "show me the way to go home" as most of my guests will be cornish and they just cant help themselves!!
One BIG day will lead to lots of little happy days !!

We finished the night with old 80's 'bloke' type songs - madness, oasis, chelsea daggar etc and the last song happened to be 'sally can wait' - totally unplanned but our guests made a circle around us linking arms, all singing along, while husband and I danced together in the middle of them all. It felt really nice and a lovely way to end our evening x
