ive just been playing around with the table planning tool and omg its sooo hard!!!! ive the top table with 13 people on it....then ive got nine round tables of varying numbers of people on each table..... can u do a seating plan for day guests and no seating plan for night guests and just have two empty tables for them???

You know i never even thought about tables for the night guests till you just said it! There was me thinking I had it sorted!! :/

aslong as theres enough seats for every 1 hun for the evening it should be fine were letting ours do a free for all that way the familys will have to mingle lol weve got a seating plan for during the day and weve arranged how the tables will be on the evening just soo many people to organise and seat tho lol xx

iv done a day seating plan but by evening people will b moving around n seating in different places n dancing. so a lot of mingling n most will b at the bar im sure lol xxx

Our seating plan will only be for day guests. Evening guests come, drink, eat, dance, mingle etc
I dont think you do a seating plan for evening do you? I'm doing a seating plan for daytime so I can create groups of people who'll get on. In the evening people move to where they want to sit anyway, if your venue is anything like ours they'll be bringing more seats/tables in... we need to give them time for the room to be turned around for evening anyhow, I'd imagine they'd bring more chairs in then x

Why are the tables so difficult. I'm having exactly the same problem.. I don't no who to put where, what to use ascentre pieces and how many tables in general. With my advice to you, iwould say when your room gets rearranged for evening afterbreakfast the staff will know your numbers and put in place additional seating for extra guests. Good luck hun xx

You dont normally have a sitting plan for the evening... poeple will get up after dinner and mil around so wont all be sat down together anyway. We are splitting each table so half my family and half his family so good mixture on every table.
