I have already decided I am getting it off the net but have researched where I can buy the dresses I like on the internet in newcastle so booked 2 appointsments for the shops that sell them so have a good idea what I want
is there anything I need to remember when I go??

Make sure to try on all sorts of styles - even things you may have dismissed in your head. I went out to try dresses on having looked at many many pictures on the internet, and I was sure that I knew what I did and didn't like, but my Mum encouraged me to try on all different necklines and shapes, just to get a feel for what looked best for my shape, and I ended up with something very different to what I thought I wanted because it looked so much better on me :-) Lots of other girls on here have also said the same thing, that they have ended up with something they would never have thought to even try on.

    Oh and enjoy every minute!!

I miss trying dresses on - I wouldn't change mine for the world, but I *loved* trying on all the different styles. Maybe on my anniversary I will go pretend to be a bride at a random shop and try dresses on - LOL

As Faeth said try on as many different styles as possible and different fabrics. The type of fabric can really change the look of the dress as can the amount of sparkle!

Take some heels! If u have a rough idea of how high ypur shoes are going to be, take a similar pair to try on with the dresses, heels alter your posture so dresses look and feel slightly different

Like the others said try lots of shapes - I went for something I never would have considered before as i thought i couldnt wear that shape
And wear your hair how you are thinking of having it - it can make a big difference having your hair up!

There are so many people out there who will tell you
    what you can't do.
What you have to do is turn around and say, "watch me"!!
