I hae worked out how much the stuff is going to cost when i buy the things i want from ebay. It is coming towards 500.00 and that is with out my dress (that is if i get it from there) Does that seem a lot.

I know i like all the stuff but i am spending nearly 100.00 gifts for the bridal party.

My whole budget for the wedding is 4k with 500 to spare in case we need it

Im spending less than that on ebay,

table decs - £100
favours - £25
flowers £ 90 for my bouquet and the 2 bridesmaids and button holes and corsages.

Im not buying the gifts from ebay, Im getting the bridesmaids the jewellry to match the dresses and my H2B can buy the best man something. Then maybe buying fresh bouquets for the mother in law and my mum.

that sounds pretty good to me, we've got loads of our stuff from ebay. sounds about right to me! Just make sure you take the time and compare everything, what might seem cheap by the time you add on postage costs, another listing may actually be cheaper. I've spent so much time in front of an ebay screen but it's def been worth it to get the nicest stuff and the best prices.

well 100quid on table decorations is quite good as mines added up 2 300 quid and thats with silk table runners

I'm having an Ebay wedding... You can get the things you need on there MUCH cheaper than in a shop for the same thing! I was quoted close on £400 for the bouquets/buttonholes/FG wands & BM Bouquets... On Ebay, the lot for £110 and they're much nicer.
PS: There is nothing wrong with being organised. I've got a year to go and all I have to get is the clothes for everyone and pay off the reception, food and church. What I spend now is extra instead of essential - Takes the pressure off.
