I have lots of people to get thank you gifts for as the wedding party will consist of 12 people excluding me and rob.

We have a tight budget but i don't want to look cheap and stingy at the same time. Anyone have any ideas or can share what they bought which might help me

    Thanks xxx

i only had best man and bridesmaid to get for...........i got my bridesmaid a lovely candle with a personalised message from the famous auction site...only 3 quid and it was gorge....but then it just depends on ur budget per present??

why not get photo frames from the pound shops etc and jazz them up and make them pretty and put each persons name on the bottom...so they can use that to put a good pic of the bridal party in...

    what else..hmmm

We are on a tight budget too so have brought 'favours' as thank you's instead.

I am very uncomfortable with the idea of thank you gifts, but know it is etiquette and deserved for my bridal party as they will be helping out so much. The only thing I had an idea of was getting my MOH an Alice in Wonderland style necklace from bay of e, and the usual flowers for the mothers etc. But aside from that I am stumped too. Can't I just say "thank you and i love you all" lol. x

well i was thinking i could prob get the BMs their jewellery for the day as their gifts, have no clue what to get the men and rob is reluctant to spend £10 or less on gifts for his mum and dad - we cant afford to spend more and he is being annoying :( x

I would keep an eye on any sales between now and your wedding. It isn't wedding related but I bought my best mate who is my MOH a L'occitaine gift set for Xmas but got it for £10 instead of £20 in a sale. Charity shops too are great in some areas, and I have bought things that are still packaged and really nice. I know it sounds cheap but brides on a budget need to scavenge, lol. x

well this is what i keep telling rob but he doesn't seem to understand. Men! Anyway mum recommended a perfume set for BMs and i thought sales or avon perfume may be a way round it - just hard knowing what to get men. Anyone know if cufflinks are very expensive as was thinking maybe get some nice ones for our best man?

    Thanks all xxx

ooo thanks that sounds great - will keep an eye out for things like that and see what I can find - might mention the dinner voucher thing to rob for his parents as we can leave that till we come back from our honeymoon!

We bought thankyou teddies for the flowergirl and pageboy from ebay (pics on profile), necklace to wear on day, heart bookmark and thank you for being my bridesmaid angel for our bridesmaid, personalised mouse mats from vistaprint for the ushers (they were about £6 each i think), a personalised pen (off ebay and less than £10) and a kilt pin for best man and a silver and glass rose ornament keepsake for both mums instead of real flowers. xx
