Hello, I'm new to ukbride, I'm getting married in Dundee and was wondering if anyone had or is planning a wedding their? We're getting married on fairly tight budget; does anyone know of any good value halls or venues we could use?

I'm not from Dundee but we're getting married between Perth and Dundee at Fingask Castle.
There are some really pretty town/village halls in Angus. There was a wedding planner whose blog I was stalking who booked a village hall for her wedding venue, although I can't remember what it was.

Hi lh2404, welcome to the site. I'm not from Dundee (I'm a Fifer) but just did a search online and found Baxter Park Pavilion - it looks fab. Do a search online and you'll find tons of venues hun. Oh and good luck :) xxx

We have the day ceremony sorted - we're lplanning on the Barnhill Rock Gardens by B'Ferry - it's the evening reception that realy has me stumped...I'm shying away from hotels because of the expense but by the same token, I don't want to end up in a dingy clubbie. A nicely presented town or church hall/clubbie would be ideal!
There is so much to think about and choose from, it all gets a bit confusing!

I've popped a couple of links on your wall for town halls in Dundee and Angus. There might also be something at the top end of Fife that would be close enough.
