How much are you getting quoted or dry cleaning your dress?

I wanted it done somewhere good so I popped into the place we hired the suits from and they said it depends on the detail of the dress, but could be anything from £100-250. I knew it would be costly but not quite to that extent.

Anyhoo I was in the shop today where I got my dress from and I was talking about it and they said bring it in ad they will do it for me, asked how much and they said £60!!!!!!! Guess I will go to the dress shop.

Do you think the suit place are OTT on the pricing? Now hubby is also saying I should get t sold once cleaned, but I don't want to.

I think they are charging too much. I would only expect to pay that for a professional couture gown cleaner in London. It sounds like they'll just send it out to someone else and make a profit on the side tbh - very cheeky of them.

I think it varies across the country but I paid £70 for mine to be cleaned. Got a few quotes and it seemed about average for where I live xx

I think dry cleaning prices are extausionate anyway, after my wedding my dress was filthy from the beach & field shots, so i took it into a little dry cleaners & they said would be a minimum of £76!!! Bearing in mind i only paid £150 for the dress brand new i wont pay this, so its staying dirty lol xx
