Ok, two days left to go and H2B has come up with giving each of the guests invited to all of the day the first drink free.
I know if we say to people first free drink it'll get out of hand so an actual physical voucher is a better idea.
So I have to make the voucher/token.
I was thinking of business card size, the swirl graphic from the invites I made but....
    How do I word it?

    Any ideas?

this entitles you to one drink from the bride and groom
drinks are pint of beer, glass of wine , any soft drink

that then stops anyone from having triple anything lol

    I'd suggest same as Lala

or state it as house wine etc as obv thats cheaper, don't want someone taking the pee and going for the expensive wine lol

I could just see one of my lot ordering a pint of vodka while the other does a pint of coke then mixing in.

what about - Off to the bar? Cheers, this ones on us! One free beer/wine/soft drink.

We put money behind the bar but our venue were really good and would only let people order single mixers - if you wanted a double or large you had to pay the difference!

my cousin handed out raffle tickets and told the bar staff that if people were handing over raffle tickets they could have a pint, single shot or glass of wine and it worked out fine xx

and I thought I was last minute Annie lol

Think I'd also put on it wine/beer/soft drink
I also have a very synical mind, I'd probably ask them to circle or wrtie which drink on the token so I know I will get charged by the bar for the right drinks ;)

    Thanks all, much appreciated.
The bar manager knows what we're after, and to be fair there wont be too much of a choice anyway.
Printed off 90 little cards and chopped them all up, they look quite good, seeing as they wont be used for long at all I didnt want to go too fancy on them.

AlmostMrsB, great idea with the drink choice!!
See that's why I love this place :)

poop, didnt think of that. I made enough for all included.
well i'll have to do some word of mouth on that one so the guests dont use one for another beer when it should be a kids drink.
Damn, why didnt H2B think about this sooner.

If you've only printed them out, couldn't you just change it to 'one kids soft drink' and print out however many kids are coming to your wedding ?
Thats what I'm going to do if we end up being able to afford money behind the bar xxx

Good idea GC. I would also perhaps get the price of the most expensive drink and multiply it by ur guests that way you know the most ur bill will come to.

I was just about to suggest that Nina ! Thats what I've done :-) Works out at about £250 all together, but I know it'll definitely be about £25 cheaper because of soft drinks for the kiddlets :-) xxx
