    Hi folks,

Here's the dilema: Can I have a navy and pink theme in a room with black chairs or do I need to think of a different colour? I don't like chair covers (apologies to all those that do) so that isn't an option.

I really need some help making a decission! I'd quite like my two bridesmaids in navy dresses, mid - short length smart/casual dresses (so not too formal) but the chairs (nice high back chairs that don't need to be covered like some of the ugly ones out there) unfortunately are black!

(I like the colour scheme as seen at the bottom of this linked page *************************8 or maybe the one at the very top with the aqua instead of pink)

I don't think the colours will be a problem. I looked at the page your colours are lovely.

There are so many people out there who will tell you
    what you can't do.
What you have to do is turn around and say, "watch me"!!

I agree with Sian's point re the suit but I don't think it would matter so much for chairs and things :)

I know exactly where you are coming from, black and navy do not go BUT where do you draw the line? What about the carpet does that go with the dresses and how about the curtains,if someone with a clashing colour arrives at the wedding should we have them removed so that they don't spoil 'the look '? I think sometimes we get bogged down too much in the detail when in all honesty we are the only people who will notice!I have given up stressing about how to have 'everything' matching,so long as the big things do i realise that the rest doesn't matter. xxx
