Hello everyone,
I get married in august next year and i'm thinking of starting shopping for my dress in september/october.. I know a lot of people that have bought their dresses 12+ months prior to their wedding and i dont know if i should be out looking now?
Also how soon after finding my dress should i start shopping for the bridesmaids dresses? X

i actually bought my bridesmaids dresses before my dress. I get married this september, i bought the bridesmaid dresses last september and my dress last november :) x

I had my bridesmaid dresses before mine. I would definitely start shopping for you dress now as they can take up to 9 months to be made by the designer and you will need time after that for alterations.

I too got my bridesmaid dresses before my dress! I think I actually got the bridesmaid dresses about 17 months in advance and I ordered my dress 12 months in advance - it took 9/10 months to come in xx

No harm in looking I picked mine last September and that's it only just arrived (& needs alterations) I get married in November this year.

My sister gets married August 2018 and had her dress in Jan this year (she had her ❤️ set on this one dress for a while) and got it in a sample sale - it's discontinued now.

So it's never to early but don't leave it to late.
