Has anybody spend ages pondering over their dress... got it... and then sat and thought is this really what i want... cause I've just spent £750.... and now I'm worried i got it too soon and did i get the right one even though i was certain and tried so many different ones on. Just wondered if anybody else felt the same x

I think a lot of people worry about the dress they purchased. The best thing to do is stop looking at dresses. Easier said then done I know, but if you can stop you won't be tempted by something else. As for time I think you bought it just in time not too early. You only have six months to go. If you have any alterations on the dress it'll probably be ready just in time.

£750 is a lot to spend on something it's only natural to worry whether you made the right choice.

I think it's natural to worry Hun, and I'm sure the dress is perfect and will be even more perfect when it's made to fit and even more when it's ur wedding day x

Yep, I was really worried. And still now even though I ordered it about a month ago I still have the occasional though. Just don't look at any dresses , even in magazines, that always makes me doubt my choice!
I havnt purchased my dress yet, although I have found 1 that I loved when I tried it on, we took pictures whilst we were there, and all my friends want me to get it, they think its lovely, and I loved it too, but I just recently looked at the pictures again and have been thinking ''ohhhh do I really love it'' Im going back on Sunday to try it on again and check theres nothing else before I buy it, but once I have purchased one...Im not looking at anymore dresses, it'll be lovely on the day when you have your hair,make-up etc done :)

Going on friday to have another look and make a decision

i bought my dress 15months before my wedding and paid for it in full. The minute i left the shop i felt sick wondering if i had done the right thing...i was really panicked but would not let myself go back and slowly i started to trust my gut(which had make me get the dress) I tried the dress 4 times after that and each time i tried my dress i loved it more. Now i am gutted that i will never wear my beautiful dress again x

Bought my dress for in July for my wedding in November took it home and tried it on a couple of times as i intentionally bought a smaller size because i wanted to lose weight... Lost the weight and realised i have made a big mistake.... So I have just purchased a new one ... Told the shop to keep it till mid November till I go for final fitting... Hope other half isn't reading this cos there won't be a wedding...lol

i was really worried i wouldnt like my dress again because it was a sale bargain and because its nothing like i wouldnt normally wear (really blingy and full) really but as soon as i tried it on again i loved it. Im sure when you try it on again you get that same feeling when you try yours on again xxxx

How did you feel when you tried it on. I've been feeling the same and my sil2b said to me how did you feel when you tried it on and I said that I nearly cried and she said well its the one.
I'm going to try my dress on the 17th Novemeber as that is when they will ordered it. I paid for it in June as I've lost weight since then and I didn't want to order it too early for that reason.
Try it on again and if you don't feel the same way as you did the first time I'm sure you will end up finding the dress that is perfect for you.
Cant wait until I become Mrs K

Hi hun i had exactly that same dilemma.I did try on different dresses but not lots as im not a dress person really.Found one that was different and the lady in the shop let me have it discounted(didnt ask) as was a sample they shouldnt of had but current. That swayed me and put deposit on then later payed for it but was unsure espically as there are so many dresses to choose from and more styles coming out all the time.Dont look if you can help it although i did and even 6weeks before my wedding was unsure so tried on some dresses, then stuck with mine but changed it alittle on bust and added colour around waist so looks unique. You must of loved something about the dress and dont try and please anyone else or put on pressure of what the dress has to be.I find that everyone keeps saying about the dress and the day try and not let it get to you but you have time to try it on with your shoes and accessories and then see? If not sure try on others and the shop might let you swap you have time.xx

I've had doubts, I think mainly because my dress is nothing like what I thought I wanted. Everytime I try it on with my accessories etc though I know that it's "the" dress, it makes me feel beautiful.. and that doesn't happen to me very often!
I think every bride is going to wonder if they've made the right choice, its a big decision, there are soooo many dresses out there to choose from and they are all so pretty! Just stop looking at dresses because that's what puts doubt in the mind... When I was pondering mine, I thought to myself:- could I have left the bridal shop without that dress after I had tried it on (it was in a sale, take on the day kinda thing), and the answer is no, I would not have let it go for love nor money :)
Stop looking at dresses.. unless you win the lottery, then you can buy 10 and change every hour ;) Oh if only! xx
