    Think I just need to rant but I'm feeling really down, after over a year and loads of shops I finally found THE dress. Went in to be measured and try on again (it would be the first time me my flower girl & bridesmaid would all be together to try dresses at same time) turns out they sold the sample and wrote the wrong product code down (We discovered this when they pulled the dress from the rail for me to try on and said here's your dress and it wasn't). When I first couldn't find it on the rail they said they would get it once measure was done as they had rearranged the layout and it would be on a different rail than where I was looking. So now I'm waiting on a message from the store with pictures from there files that they think match the ones I sent them of me in dress (since the deposit is paid I got to take pictures) they were supposed to message me yesterday but I'm still waiting for a message back.
    My mums is going to call on Monday and chase them (she's paying for my dress) but I'm so angry they kept showing me this other dress saying are you sure it's not this one (ladies you'll know as well as I do when you find the one your sure what it's like)
    But I just feel so down if they can't get the code or don't have the pictures I'm starting again, it took me sooo long to find this one and now I only have 10months.
    Also I really don't want to order a dress based on what they think the code is I want to be sure.
    Rant over for now, but here's hoping it will all be fine

    Bless you. I would be so annoyed. Just keep badgering them till they sort it out or demand your deposit back xxx

    I tried to call all afternoon today (according to my call log over 30 times I called) but no answer. My mum is going to call Monday morning and go nuts, she will insist they find it or refund problem is we got a deal and it includes bridesmaid and flowe girl as well as my veil, so if they don't get my dress I'm back at square one for the lot. Don't feel I got get the others from there when they messed up so bad with this! Worst is they told me not to worry they weren't the manager knew the code of by heart because it's one of the most popular dresses they have and they would definitely be in touch on Friday with pictures for me to confirm and they haven't, it's like I don't matter to them.

    oh no how frustrating!!! have you tried to find the dress code on the designers website?

    Yep first thing I tried but can't find it on the designers website anywhere & since store sold sample I think it may be last years stock and they will still make to order but don't supply anymore.

    typical! Thats really shocking that they dont know what they have sold of the rack and dont know what stock they had. You think they would have a big list!!!

    Hopefully if they give you the code maybe you could get it from another shop that stocks it if they cant get the dress for you anymore? xx

    After some digging turns out it's an exclusive range for this store only it's a ****83113 M@r133
    They still haven't been in touch and are closed today so now no answers til at least tomorrow after telling me on Thursday they would be in touch Friday. And they didn't answer phone at all on Saturday.
    This is stressing me out big time (I'm now having nightmares about the wedding)& all my family keep telling me it's fine it will get sorted and if it does fall through (i.e. They can't get the code) I can just get another dress from somewhere else and it's not helping me at all I keep telling them this is thee dress and I don't want another but just get told it's fine and that dress in the other shop was similar and u liked that as well (I did and it was my top choice until I found the one I went for) but to get it now would be settling for second best.
