I'm pretty sure I found my dream dress the 1st time i tried it on... as my mum lives abroad she only has seen pictures of it and she doesnt seem to like it at all and tries to find all sort of excuses why i shouldnt buy it... how an i convince her that this dress is possibly the one I love and want!? What can I do? Thx for ur help

i agree with soon to be mrs mann! every dress looks different when on and every woman wears it different aswell. i would go and try it on again and take a picture. if you still love it and are sure it is the one send the photo to your mum but dont tell her it is the same dress and see what she says! she prob wont even notice! xx

you have plenty of time till your wedding... id it not possible to wait until maybe your mums over for a visit and take her to the shop with you?

my mother has no idea about my dress .... even though it has been in my house since jan ....i wont even tell her the colour

I have a mum who disagrees with everything i choose to the point where i stopped asking her round to my home when i moved in because mothing was ever good enough and she was constantly making comments about things. Its your dress and if you love it then you don't need to convince anybody else. Go for it and feel ike the princess you are suppose to on your wedding day xxx

Thats what my mum is like! dislikes everything i choose wear unless she choose it herself. If you think its 'the one' it will be for you. your the one getting married not your mum.


Or do the same to her when she spots a mother of the bride outfit x

my mam doesnt really like mine she likes the first one i tried. my moh doesnt like my dress either. but i loveee it so i dont care. i think any mother will think there daughters wedding dress on the day. =) xxx

im having the same problem with my mum hun everything i try on she will find faults with it, but i brought one yesterday and i love it and she tried saying stuff about it today but im happy so it doesnt matter im the one wearing it and i feel confident in it yes i would love my moms approval but im never gonna get it so if you love hun go for it xxx

It's your wedding, no one but you gets the final say over your dress. You'll regret it if you pass up on "the one" just because someone said "urrggh... I wouldn't wear that"- here's an idea. Don't.

yes mara this is a bit sparkly :) its actually not to much is sequined underneath the one material it sparkles a lot in the light :)
