Wedding Forum - Don't use this company...

Do not use this photography company. This company is run solely by freelance individual named ********, this individual has set up this company alone, in an effort to look more legitimate than just a freelance photographer. This company is regestered to a mail forwarding address in harrow. The same address is used by many companies as a forwarding address to get round legal issues. The individual who runs ******** will tell you that the address is that if the head office, but don't be fooled.


My wife and I were recently married and we went with this photographer due to price. He gave us a low quote when we emailed him (what we thought was low at the time). This photographer promised us "unlimited" photographs and two cameramen for our wedding, this included couple shots, staged shots, interviews with guests etc. we had a total of 5 couple shots which were poorly directed. And most of the time the photographer had to be notified to take the photos at key moments instead of having a photographers instinct. This man is a man with a camera and an elaborate story but is in no way a photographer; he has a poor eye for detail and bad timing.

Our saga continued after our wedding with demands to pay him the remainder of the fee before anything was going to happen, the threats escalated to threats of sending debt collectors. After my wife and I heard this we realised that our precious photos were in jeopardy. We paid the full amount in full After a long and heated debate about the contract and then signing it post wedding. The photographer then went on to make a fuss about everything and dragged things out for as long as possible. At the time of writing our photos are still in the hands if the photographer and we have received nothing yet. We have been back and forth over touching up the photographs (something that was agreed to be done to our satisfaction), only a few photos have been changed from colour to black and white, and apparently this constitutes as "touching up photographs in every way" (as stated in the contract).
And to make his job easier on himself, of the 900+ photos taken we were shown only 700. We said we want all the photographs but were told they had been deleted. So unlimited to ******** means 700 just so you know.
All this and I haven't even seen the videos yet. Suffice to say, keep well away from this "photographer" at all costs, find a reputable professional that will take shots that you can treasure instead of amature snaps a child could take.
