So it has hit me, that we are possibly having all 70 (ish) of our guests at the ceremony aswell as venue. So now I'm thinking how to get those 70 people from church to venue!! Obviously there will be the cars booked for me and the groom, and bridesmaids/mum?? But for everyone else what did other people do? We're having a website instead of invitations so not sure whether to book a coach and ask who would like to go via coach to calc numbers, or ask who is planning on driving their own cars? I just have no idea where to start with it! You know when you just think you've thought of everything, and then another minor detail hits you in the face!! :/

It's up to you, we're having a hired vintage bus to take the guests but only because we want to, I've been to plenty of weddings where there hasn't been any transport arranged between venues and there's never been any complaining so do what you think is right - if you are going down the coach route then a response page on the website seems like a good idea :-)

The wedding website we're using allows you to set up a car sharing page - people say if there's a seat in their car and people can book that seat. Or people can request a seat. Perhaps you could use that?

    A bus/coach is another option.

we were going to have a red london double decker bus to transport our geusts. even a coach would do. I think it adds an air of atmosphere / fun if you travel in a larger group anyway, all those excited people together in one place.
