It's blood thinning injections I think, she has 4 lots of them so she'll be glad when they are over. She hates needles lol.

The NICU at the hospital are raising money to build a new unit, I think £10 will pay for a brick! So I may do something like that

And thanks everyone, I'm a very proud auntie.. I even got exicted changing her nappy. My Steve has been amazing, he so adores Lola and seeing him with her makes me want to give him his own baby even more so today we booked a consultation with a private clinic for IVF, £300 just for the consultation but worth every penny I think!

I'm not really sure, I didn't ask! She just wants life to be back to normal as much as it can be so everything like treatment and medication was off topic today.

And I know, considering they'd need like a billion bricks lol

Yeah we were quite shocked when she rang and said can you pick me up we're coming home!

According to her consultant she's better off at home and moving around, will help things heal quicker and if she was in hospital she'd just be stuck in bed.

I'm glad they are home though, they are where they both belong

hey melody i just realised she was born on my birthday :-D she will be more than fine shes a Pisces she will kick ass and be a tad crazy like me hahaha x

Just read through this thread and wanted to say what a relief they are home! Been having traumas of our own here so not been on as much the last few days. Glad its all looking up for you and your family! x

How does your sister cope with the stairs at her flat? Im sure she will heal quickly. My mum broke her hip last christmas and had to have a new one, i swear she healed more quickly at home, the consultant was really impressed.

Well to get her into her flat she was carried but she hasn't left it since but we will come to that when she needs to get out. She's take more steps today, done about 10 with the crutches. She has a bath though so really struggling with washing her, I'm thinking of seeing if she'd like to move into my place while she gets better as we have a walk in shower, just little things that would make everything much better for her.

Lola is doing so well, midwife weighed her yesterday and we were so shocked, with being so poorly we thought she would of lost quite a bit if weight but in a week she's only lost 2oz. Had to go out this morning and buy loads of clothes for her, newborn drowns her so gonna try her in tiny baby and hope it fits because right now she's just in babygro's!

Hi hunny, just wanted to send my love and support. Been following on here and fb as to what been goin on. i cant imagine how hard it is. pls take it day by day. i hope things improve asap.

She's in prem baby clothes from mothercare, it's the only size that fits her. Tiny baby go upto 8lbs and it drowns her.

She puked all over me today lol. We sat outside for a while. The first bit of fresh air she's had!
