Hi every one, I know I have a little while to go yet but I am thinking about how to have my hair. I have very fine thin hair so it is hard to style, I don't want to have it just down because I have long hair and it tends to 'get on the way'. I was thinking 1/2 up and 1/2 down but I don't know if it will look rite with thin hair. Any advice? Or maybe pictures? It would be greatly appreciated. X

I've been thinking the same but I have very thick hair which just drops anything so quickly! Have you tried looking on pinterest? I've got a few ideas on there

I have very thin hair as well.. I think I'm going to wear it mostly up with a few loose strands hanging down to soften it a little. If I wore it down it wouldn't hold any style and would just drop within a few hours. Thinking of pinning it up with loose curls and putting some sort of flowers/other hair pieces in to make it look more 'full'. x

I have just put a photo of my favourite style I've found to date in my albums.. Something like that might be good for you if you have long hair because you can make it look more full by curling it and pinning it up x

u cud look at clip in extensions to thicken it a bit? or to give more styles choices x
Im really struggling too with my hair as its so thick and long and never holds but ive booked in for a trial in december so i can wear my hair on a night out to see how long it lasts and if it stays in at all, i think ill have to have a few more trails as well. Ive gotta have my hair swooped to one side otherwise you wont see the datails on the shoulder of my dress ive seen so many lovely styles but dont know if they will look right on my hair, all i can do it trial them

Curling it might well help with volume, but you might need a strong hair spray. You could try a volumising shampoo. If you're planning on having a professional hairdresser they'll be able to advise you, so ask them for suggestions when you have your hair trial. I didn't really know what to do with mine other than back from my face until I met the hairdresser. Maybe plaiting it would be effective.

I have fine hair too and personally, half-up half-down styles don't really work for me; they tend to go limp and flat quite quickly, so, i always have my hair put fully up for special occasions.
If I were you I'd perhaps have a couple of trials; ask them to do a half-up style as they would on the day, and then see how it holds up. If you think it's gone flat too quickly, have it all taken up on the day.

I have had my hair in similar styles before as bridesmaid and got my prom, full up makes me look really weird and not like me at all. A good hairdresser will have good holds hair spray should keep it in place. I thought about getting clip inns for the bottom back to give a bit more fullness, but unsure as my hair is such a of colour is hard to get a match.

Whovian bride 2b- That's makes me feel better that you have had you hair like that befor. I just worry that's all as I know whet my hair is like lol. I am using some new volumising shampoo by l0re&l called fibrology and it is attually working making my hair feels a bit thicker I was very sceptical at first but it was on offer so I brought it and it is helping. I haven't suddenly got a head of thick hare it just feels a little thicker. So hopefully it will keep on working and with a good hairdresser and hair spray I should have nice hair all day :). X

I'm having the same problem. My hair is very fine and I'm not confident enough to have a full up do so I thought about half up half down. The hairdresser has suggested a low bun with my veil over the top. We'll have to see what the hair trial brings. P1nt3r3st has been really good for ideas though :)

Sorry ladies I have been busy so first chance I have had to look back in hear :(. The shampoo dose take time but I am defiantly noticing a difference :). I think it's one of those things that different shampoo euros for different hair. There are some brands that I can't use on my hair at all! Tbh there is only about 3 brands that make my hair nice. This me one being the best :). I have got a lot of iders from p1nt3r3st, all mainly half up and half down. I wairing a cathedral length vaile, so people may not even see my hair, but I still want it looking very pretty and if I want to take my vaile off at some point during the day (i think I will do) I want every one to see pretty hair :).
