Well havent been on here for ages.. So Here goes

After the car accident i had found a job..all great blah blah getting married THIS YEAR in cyprus.. H2B is a self employed bricklayer has hardley worked since jan 13 due to snow..rain..freezing temps..List goes on..

I feel im being an awful girlfriend all i do is moan for last 4 months ive paid all bills.. anything wedding related..His car insurance.. I suppose thats what being a girlfriend is.. Too help!!

He asked his dad to lend him 200 pound.. out of his savings.. which hes never touched..His dad replied Na ASK ur girlfriend if she doesnt help you shes not the one for you..Im actually heartbroken.. I Have a 7 year old son from a previous other half has 2! Ive hardley slept worrying about wedding or bills or both my family have been great and helped loads!!

Thing is i dont want his dad near my wedding hes rude.. makes comments like well get ur wife or whatever to pay ur bills live off her..H2b has only been out of work due to weather but works so damn hard... im so hurt his dad thinks of me as his sons personal Bank!!!! also had alot of issues from h2b ex she wont let him see kids is demandin more money.. this has been the worse year we have had..and im ment 2 be getting married in 2013 arrrrgh!!!!

I wanna put the wedding back but EVERYONE has booked there flights out 2 cyprus aunties cousins friends etc etc me and h2b have paid for flights wedding hotel venue dress rings my shoes bridesmaid dress favours personal touches flowers cake.
..make up hair etc etc.. only thing to get is h2b and best mans suit!!!! :(

i no they wont get there money back thats the only thing stopping us..h2b worked all last week..but this morning weve worken up with snow :'( do things ever get any easier??

Aww hun dont let his stupid horrible dad want you to put your wedding back! Its you and your h2b not you, h2b and dad!

If you did want to put it back however, then you should. I know the guests may lose out but thats better than you doing something you regret :/ Marrige is for life and you should think carefully.

I know your in a sticky spot hun but try and concentrate on you and h2b :) Easier said than done i know x x

I would personally be very offended and hurt if my h2b's father said anything like that and like you I wouldn't want him anywhere near our big day!!

It has been a horrible year by the sounds of it and I feel your pain about the lack of money through the winter months etc!!

Try your hardest to keep your chin up - no matter how hard it may seem. Think happy thoughts about the wedding or else you will end up resenting it when it is meant to be the happiest day of your life. :)

Things will get better - once this weather has gone and spring will be in the air i'm sure your h2b will be back to work and you will feel better!

Does seem like you are having a hard time of it. Would ignore H2B dad that is his opinion not your h2b, if he cant help his son out when times are hard that says a lot more about him x

That's so rough! But think positive - this weather is not going to last too much longer (touch wood and fingers crossed) and then you're H2B is going to be working his socks off with all the people that need work doing after the weather has done all its damage etc. And then you'll be right back on your feet again! And everything will seem to much easier once you just have one less thing to worry about, its always worse when tehre's everything to worry about at once. And as long as your h2b doesn't think of you as a bank, then stuff his dad. Because you and your H2B are going to be happy happy happy, so thats what counts! Positive thoughts, and focusing on that light at the end of the tunnel!
