I know this sounds strange but over the last week I have noticed the h2b has been calling me wife not fiancee. Not that I mind of course but I think it is sweet how he can't wait to call it me and already sees me as his wife. I was just wondering if any of the other men do it.

My h2b has been doing it for a while but normally when we have mild disagreements, lol. He will come out with "you're my wife...." and i reply "not yet I'm not", lol. But sometimes he is sweet and texts or phones from work saying he can't wait to be my husband and to have me as his wife, that he is so lucky etc. x

LOL - I have been Wifey for as long as I can remember between us, but he hasnt offically.

before we got married..if I made an observation...which he called nagging..he would say..you're not my wife yet you know lol..I'd say I am just practising..you ain't seen nothing yet !!!! lol he calls me wife now all the time lol that's cos i am lol

He has called me his wife since about the 2nd date !!! lol

I still call my h2b my boyfriend (he stills calls me girlfriend) and get told off for it...no! He is your fiance! But for some reason I hate that word...I guess from seeing so many of people (like immature 16-18) getting engaged and over saying it and then splitting up, put me off the word. He thinks it sounds weird too for the same reasons.

Lol I still call him boyfriend and we've been together 19 years! I call him h2b on here and it's only recently that I thought to myself, he really is my husband to be!

or when hes being ultra nice usually before he switches his phone off before he takes off on a plane i get mrs heard to be and then the number of days left !

or i get babe station...... generally when he wants something... eg like his shirt ironing or his fish feeding when hes away!! but alas it doesnt work..... now if he called me play boy bunny then yes i might iron him a shirt as they are much nicer than grotty babe station girls hahaha

I'm known as 'the missus' or 'whiff-to-be'. But at his work, I'm known as H-Nic (his surname is Nicholson), which I actually really like! He can bearly remember to call me his fiance and we've been engaged since Aug last year - how long will it take for him to get used to me being his WIFE?!

He usually describes me as his fiancee, and i am the same - it's what we are. i've started calling him h2b a lot - but i think thats something i've picked up from here! I wouldn't dare call him my boyfriend because i think that down plays it a bit. My grandad always calls him my boyfriend or just "friend" because he doesn't think we should be getting married and so just refuses to accept it (he thinks we're too young).

Also, though i see what you are saying about the over use of the word "fiance" Leanne, i do not necessarily think it's just young people who over use it - i am fed up with people (of any age) who get engaged one relationship after another with no intention of committing to each other. It upsets me when people look at us and just assume we are the same.

h2b has said it a few times and it sounds strange! i have said to him a few times recently that i am his future wife and he likes it! he calls himself my hubby!

i dont like the word fiance either! i still say boyfriend and still get him boyfriend cards!
the next card i get him will be a christmas husband card! xx

Martyn has only started calling me fiancee. So i think it will be a while be he calls me his wife. I have told him if he calls me is misses or his gf or fiancee when we are married then we will be having very loud words

i get shnuckums, babe, honey bunny, honey bun, darling, darl, other half erm all sorts!! lol i call him sweetie, babe, hunni all sorts too but we never use fiance, fiancee except on cards haha. i did get him a card last year cant remember if it was his birthday card or valentines card but i got him husband and wrote in 'to be' and he freaked out haha x

i dont mind it jo lol i know he apprecaites me and i can take it with a pinch of salt lol

We too don't use fiance/fiancee often as it feels a bit like saying WE'RE ENGAGED YOU KNOW!! RAR! but now and again, mostly with each other. Mostly use bf/gf which I don't like but is just easier. Have never been referred to as wife, so can't wait til that happens on the big day :) I would agree with magicfairies and say it is a bit unfair to say immature 16-18 year olds over use the word, I know of many people well over this age who waste no time in getting engaged, blabbering on about it then split up. We got engaged at 18 and are still very happy at 21.

last night me and h2b got home from work at the same time. he opened his back door of car and pulled out a bunch of flowers and said to be beautiful wife to be!! and then gave me a big kiss and hug in the middle of the street! it was so lovely! xx

Its either babe or mrsd, he always writes to mrsd in cards. xx
