hi everyone i found a really nice venue and they charge £30 per person for an evening do. it includes: -personal services from dedicated wedding co-ordinator -overnight stay on the night with champers and chocs -country club membership during your stay -2 drinks per person offering pimms,beer, wine or fresh orange juice -canapes with drinks -buffet -sparkling wine for the toast -childrens activity table with healthy food buffet, fruit juice and activity packs - silver cake stand and knife -full red carpet treatment -complimentary buffet menu tasting -private room hire -discounted room rates with an optional private breakfast room for your guests

yeh another venue we liked charged £2500 for hire with things included which this 1 does not plus £16 pp for the buffet so were bit torn

Sounds good as I think we are paying £56 for the daytime with drinks package, flowers, accomodation, cake stand etc and £15 for the evening buffet.

we were going to have a sit down meal but was way too expensive cost like 5 grand just on food and knowing my family they probs wont even eat it

£30.00 pp for your evening do and your hotel stay? will you then have to go on to pay for a wedding breakfast during the day? if you dont have to pay for a meal then this sounds quite good, i couldnt tell you exactly what im paying but i think its something in the region of £40.00pp, this includes all of what you have listed (except the private breakfast room, complimentary buffet tasting) but it also includes full wedding breakfast and hire of the venue room for the whole day and all night, table plan and place cards if required and a complimentary wine tasting... Im going to be a Mrs Stevens too!! :) xx

if u are not having a sit down meal then that explains why it seemed high initially. we are paying 15 per head but then again we have paid for the room hire etc with bridal breakfast so u are paying for their other services so as long as u are not having a sit down meal then yes thats good. If you are then its sky high

no, the one where its 2500 for venue hire charges £65 pp for sit down meal plus buffet and that was way out of our budget then we found this 1 which was recommended to us by a member on here so we had a look and are going out there sunday to there wedding fair and to be shown around
