I'm in a bit of a situation at the minute where I have found a supplier to do all the wedding venue decorations, at what I think is a reasonable price, but h2b thinks it's far too much and that we can get it cheaper elsewhere. I have tried looking at other suppliers and their prices do seem to be a lot more expensive than this one. I have read the reviews and everyone couldn't have recommended her any more than they have done which is making me think she is a really good choice. The problem is that I need to let her know asap if I'm going to be booking her or not and don't like keeping her waiting, however h2b and me just cannot agree :( The quote that she has given me is £800 which is for:

- 30ft aisle runner package & rose petals etc
- 9m fairylight backdrop
- purple top table swag - lights purple no pleated skirting
- cake table swags - lights but no pleated skirting
- mr & mrs signs sliver hire
- love sign for cake sliver hire
- 40" first dance balloon
- pair of bay trees
- pair of topiary trees
- entrance lights/drapes for ceremony room (inside door)
- 100 polyester chair covers
- 100 organza sashes
- 10 fishbowls with mirrors, tea tree candles
- 200 sash embellishments - front and back

delivery, collection and set up
additional petrol charge
some discount for having a large package

What do you's think ladies? Do you think this is reasonable? I'm soon going to be tearing my hair out :(

That's actually a really good quote for what you are getting - my chair covers and sashes are costing me £240 on their own! x

that sounds like a good deal and by the time you get to your day prices will have gorne up so it will be a steal

I'd say that's a good price. The chair covers alone are costing me £3.50 each so with everything else in there I think you're doing well.
But do bear in mind if you get on with the people at the company. I'd rather pay a bit extra and have people I can work with than some stroppy mare!

I am having my venue dresses for £350, but not having as much as you. Ours include 70 chair covers and sashes, table linen, swagging for tob table and cake table, 2 bay trees, an exploding balloon and a candy buffet. So the quote you have been given is fairly reasonable considering you are having more than that. I would go for it, especially if you have shopped around already and can't find cheaper. xx
