Its normally the wedding party that wear matching suits, so unless he is part of the party it wouldnt be typical for him to have the same suit.
H2B step dad is his best man so he will be in the same suit.

My H2B's dad will be in a suit, if he wants to be - bit different for me though, because we've only got one parent each - I've got my mum and he's got his dad - no new partners.

I agree with Julie - if he's part of the bridal party then he would have the same suit, if not then he wouldn't.

if he's not involved in the wedding much then probably shouldn't, but if he's contributed financially then maybe he could..i dont think there's a right or wrong here hun just depends on personal preference! does your h2b want him to wear the same as the wedding party?

Also, how do you feel about it? There's no way I'd want my mum's husband in the wedding party. Do you dad and stepdad get on - do they know each other? I personally think it's your day and your dad also has a big role so should feel comfortable with it.
