    Hey ladies,

I have a constant debate in my head at the moment. Do I lose weight and become skinny (deep down I want to have a perfect body for my wedding day - even if it only lasts like a month lol) or do I just slim down a bit? The reason I am asking is because at a size 14 I for the first time have quite big b00bs. My man is a b00b man through and through. If I lose weight my newly aquired chest will pretty much disappear. So now I have this total fight going on in my head! Do I do what I really want and try and become as slim as I've dreamed of being (and have no b00bs - well maybe b cups) or do I just try to slim down a wee bit? Totally confused and worried that my man will be really disappointed that I've lost my 'assets'

Sorry for a bit of a silly topic but this is really stopping me getting into a proper diet :-/

See thats the thing, I am sometimes but then I never get dressed up anymore because my thin clothes are all too tight. I get very jealous as well because I am paranoid that because I am fatter than I was when we got together that he will look at thinner women. I would love to be really thin for just once in my life and my wedding photos are so important, I just want to look as good as I posibly can. I can deal with having no b00bs but worried my man wont fancy me anymore :-/

Thank you, you're right, I should just go for it. I want to feel the best I've ever felt on my big day and I know being slimmer would be a huge factor in that. I can always use chicken fillets lol :-)

If you are happy he will be happy. He obviously liked you slimmer but he is also a boob man. Either way will suit him. You should only ever change your look for you anyway!

No matter what, I think every woman looks more beautifull slimmer in her wedding dress, Im a size 20-22 and I know for a fact that no just me but all my family and friends will be so overwhlemed when they see my walk down the aisle hopefully a size 12, my hubbie to be loves me now, but I know I would feel alot more confident, sexier, happier if I was a slim bride

Men don't care what size you are they love you for who you are. You can look just as stunning as a 14. I'm an 18 and found a dress that suits me. It gives me a tiny waist and the bits that are big like my bum and legs are hidden under the skirt. Its amazing what the right dress can do for you. If you really want to lose some then do it now and don't stress yourself out over it. When you come to order your dress order it the size you are now as you can always have it taken in. I say this because the last thing you want to do is be worried before the wedding you can't get in your dress if all the best plans in the world haven't worked out.

Yeah totally, I was planning on ordering a size 14 so that if it needs to be taken in it can. I am the same, I have picked a strapless, lace, mermaid style dress which totally flatters my big bum and b00bs but my arms look fat. Thats what worries me the most. I want to have skinny arms and its like the last place you lose weight from grrrrr and if I try to tone them the way they are, they'll end up looking like big mens arms if you know what I mean lol

I am gunna go to slimming world with my mum and sister but I am just rubbish at sticking at diets, need to keep motivated and on track without being totally obsessed

The problem I find when I lose weight it never comes off the parts I want it to come off lol. Its hard to keep to a diet. I did so well when we first got engaged but then slipped off the wagon a few times. I'm not trying to get some off at last minute but the dress fits as is so at least I don't have to panic about it. If you don't like your arms remember you can always get a bolero jacket, shawl or even your veil will cover your arms if you want it to.

I thought about that but its the only part you see really and when I am really slim my shoulders and back are my best feature so thinking I need to find a way of burning fat on my arms somehow......I could probably just do push ups eh? I can only do about 3 at the moment lol

id get some advice from a personal trainer just go to your gym tell them what you want then they will device a workout plan to work on the areas you want to tone or loose weight on, once they've shown you you can do it at home or carry on at the gym

    How tall are you?
If you're 6ft a size 14 is nothing but if you're quite short that it could mean that you are an unhealthy weight.
That should be what helps your choice. H2b loved you when you were smaller and hasn't threatened to leave as you've gained weight.

I am 5 foot 5 inchs. My BMI is 24 so could do with losing a bit of weight at least. I was always a 10 on top and 12 on bottoms and none of those clothes fit me properly now. Thats another reason - I cant afford to buy a new wardrobe full of clothes lol

I don't think men care as much as we do! The only reason I really wanted to lose weight for our wedding is because I put on a lot of weight after having our daughter last year, and I felt horrible - I'd never been that big before, I didn't feel like me and I had zero confidence. After losing the best part of 4st, I'm now back to where I was pre-pregnancy - I haven't gone over the top, I just wanted to feel like me again in time for our wedding. H2B said all along that he didn't care about my wobbly bits/stretch marks/extra weight as he loved me (in fact he said he loved me more because it was due to giving him our daughter then my body was such a mess anyway lol!) x

You could invest in a set of dumbells, argosto do a womens starter pack for somewhere around £20.00 that way you could just do arm excerises in your home. Simple ones like lifting your arm from your waist to above your head, doesn't sound hard but do 20+ and you'll def notice a differnce!

I'm bigger than you and completely understand. I've already lost weight, and went dress shopping for some thinspiration. It had the opposite effect in that it made me feel like it wasnt such a bad thing if I didnt lose it all as I didnt look as big as I'd imagined I would, but my bingo wings let me down. I love the shape the dress gives me and I'd hate to lose that as h2b will love it too, but I cant be doing with the arms the way they are. Overhang is not pretty x
