Hi girlies, a bit of advice please. My dream wedding shoes are on sale (£45 and they were £185 which i could never have justified) and i really want to go and get them. I've already got my dress but its still being fitted so i don't have it to look at the colour. Does it really matter if the dress and the shoes don't match perfectly? My mum seems to think so! The dress is a pinky champagne colour and the shoes are more oystery. Any adivce would be great, thanks xx

No one really sees the shoes anyway. If you love the shoes- go for them! Mine are darker than my dress.

I would just go for the shoes you want. I tried my dress on with my shoes yesterday and my shoes are more creamy than my dress (both are ivory) but they don't show anyway!
The only pictures I have seen of shoes are where they are taken seperately - when they won't be next to the dress anyway or when they are worn with a short dress - when they are not next to the dress anyway!
They sound like the bargin of the century - you have to get them if they are what you want - they are shoes! (I love shoes!!!) xxx

No one will notice if they are not exact match - that would be very hard to find any way.

    Pretty shoes = exciting!!

Go for it! I dont think it matters too much! They will be hidden most of the time anyway. I'm looking for a pair of knee high ivory boots to wear under my dress with heels, I'm more likely to wear them again then with a pair of jeans or something!

If your dress is full length you're not really going to see them that much.....too good a bargain to say know to, i would have them by now. I work as manger for a shoe company and have some gorgeous shoes which are dressy but brighter colours and i've had brides match them to their colour scheme, ie red shoes to match red scheme. Works well! x x x

If your dress is full length then no-one's going to see your shoes anyway. Spent literally weeks looking for shoes when my Aunty got married, matched the dress perfectly, but no-one saw them.
Tried my dress on (while I could still fit in it) and no-one's going to see my shoes, seriously considering wearing a pair of glittery ruby red heels :) xxx

    It's right what they say
"The course of true love never runs smoothly"
But if it had been easy then we wouldn't love each other as
much as we do right now - 1 week to go :D
