Maybe it's because I've not got everything yet but I worry everything won't look good when it all comes together!

Anyone else worry about this? How do you put your mind at rest?

Hi LegoBride, I had this exact thought about 8 months ago! My main worry was my flowers not being the right style for my dress, so I took my actual dress to my florist's house (she was incredible!) and we talked through everything that I'd chosen. I actually changed a lot of my choices that day, to make sure that it all 'fitted' and went together. This really really helped me start to piece my day together.

As long as you don't have loads of themes and lots of clashing colours and styles then what's not to 'go' you just have to have confidence in your choices and I'm sure it will all be lovely! Don't worry though, you aren't alone!! x

I worry about whether the bridesamaid dresses will go with my dress and with the mens ties and suits and whether the flowers will go with everything etc etc .It doesn't help that by the time i do see them all together it will to late to do anything about it! xxx

YES YES YES allllllllllllllllll the blinking time!

I hate the fact I cant see things in the flesh and I dread that what I see in my head wont work or it will look completly rubbish and I'll end up crying lol

I finally booked my venue dresser today tho and our ideas are very similar and I adore ALL her work so I'm hoping she will make my dreams and ideas come true which I have complete faith in her doing but its still at the back of my mind "what if it doesnt work and everyone hates it" :-(

I'm worrying about most things! I know we have a big chunk of money in the account ready to pay for things, I'm worrying it's still not neough so trying to work more overtime. I'm then concerned as I've not got the material for the dresses as yet (although I'm going on Tuesday to have a look at some fabric shops), then worry the day will be a total flop and people wont enjoy it! I'm beginning to hope people rsvp with a 'no' so I don't have to worry about them lol

Don't worry! It will all come together.

I occassionally have those worries but then I remember that we had the same worries at my sisters wedding last year but it all worked out perfectly and fell into place! Your venue will ensure it all comes together and your BM's, best man, ushers and family will also be there to make sure it all runs smoothly for you!

i was worried about this too, I'd made loads of stuff for the tables, had decided on bright colours and just had no clue whether it would all look good together. I needn't have worried though as when we arrived yesterday the place looked absolutely amazing! Everything fit together just perfectly, and I think its probably the same for everyone - you wouldn't plan stuff if you didn't think it'd look good, so try not to worry about it. I couldn't believe how beautiful everything looked yesterday because I'd been panicking about whether it would all gel.
Try not to worry, it'll all look beautiful :o) xxxx

But rest assured everything will be fine and will look probably better than you thought. xxxxx

I'm deffo hoping the venue decor will be ok. Everyone else's seems to look lovely and then I hope mine is not the one that looks like a dog's dinner lol. I have decided to have a garland on the top table thinking it might look too bare. Now I'm thinking it might look too much with the balloons I'm having. I have visions of me going in and whipping it off the table lol. Ive been excited about the balloons until I read the thread on here about balloon decor :/ (they remind people of kids parties). Then I've changed my favours like 50 million times. Hoping they look ok. I don't put them out, the venue do so I have no control over that (I hope I can get in the room to check, I'm a bit OCD about everything being straight etc). Then there's the cake, will it look too small on their cake stand?? It's only 10" diameter the bottom tier, not 12 :/

I have no worries at all. No-one will notice if the table cloths match your shoes and the chair ribbons match the birdesmaids' hairclips- the thing everyone will notice and enjoy will be the great atmosphere and emotion- and you and OH getting married!! It will all be wonderful, don't worry! Watch a few episodes of 'Don't Tell The Bride'... if a group of boys can make everything come together, then I'm pretty sure we can! xx

It's kind of the most exciting thing that you don't know how its all going to look and feel when it all comes together... it means that even though its all been meticulously thought out, its still a surprise when it comes around!

Don't worry it will! I still hav a few things to do and I feel really laid back about it! It will all be alright on the night as they say and you will be so caught up in the moment that you probably won't realise if anything is missed! I'm jealous of all you ladies with loads of time left- when I first signed up to ukbride my countdown said 19 months- now with only 14 shifts left at work although im excited for it to be here I'm sad the planning will be over- I have enjoyed every single moment of planning, enjoy ladies x

It will all be fine. I really worried it wouldnt come together but right now i am so calm. Wedding cake is baking.. cleaning still needs to be done but everything is coming together perfectly. We have people who are ill and W2Bs little brother is going to come looking like a tramp because her mom cba to buy him anything nice but im not even stressing about that. We shall just hide him :)

Keep calm and enjoy it whilst the planning last. Must remember to get the alarm clock out and set it for 10am for saturday. No getting up early for me :D
